At fault for the goal. Even though it was Wallace's fault primarily Kiernan seemed to give Dembele an easy run in.

One decent performance doesn't make a good player. Nor a team.

Wallace fault all day long.

Kiernan bettered only by Gilks today imo.

Yeah it was Wallace's fault, no doubt about it.

I just feel Kiernan always gives people too much space and he could have closed Dembele down better.

Not blaming him for today though as he did ok. Still not good enough but who is right now?!

Sorry bud, but Wallace sold the jerseys for the thumb to cross, Kiernan defended they way he should of but wad undone by a great finish.

Thought he played well as did the rest of the back 4 generally speaking. Thought collectively we defended well and actually looked as strong as we ever have defending set pieces. Hodson certainly makes a difference and Hill has been our best defender of late IMO.

The big issue is we kept giving the ball away in terrible positions totally unnecessarily and as such made it so easy for them. They barely cut us open with great play. It was down to sloppy play from us so on the whole the defence played really well.

In terms of the goal many are to blame but Wallace is most culpable. You can't get caught out so easily from a straight ball over the top from a centre half. It was very poor. He got caught on the wrong side and was exposed badly. However you could argue Hill could have closed sooner or blocked the cross. Kiernan could have got goal side to prevent the shot and Gilks should have had his legs closed.

Not sure how the centre half got the ball but one of our players probably gave it away too easily so it could have even been prevented from even getting to their centre half! I appreciate my critique is harsh on some but the reality is they could all have done better, Wallace especially, once you over analyse. Pretty decent finish though to be fair.
