If it is not mentality, and only about skill with a ball, how were we able to go to Seville and beat Real Betis in their own patch. A feat that Real Madrid and Atletico have been unable to achieve this season? Are celtic better than them? 
I can't explain it either... as I have said elsewhere, this team have the mental fortitude to go to Spain and beat top European teams but we can't bring that form to an Old Firm game.... maybe as has been suggested, we have mental strength but we lack the belief against that lot? Maybe we can't handle expectation? Maybe we thrive on being the underdog? fuck knows what it is but I cannot see how it can be explained away with "skill with a ball" we have demonstrated repeatedly that we have ability in the team, as individuals and as a collective
 

There is some truth to this.... I am absolutely baffled by our team at times. They sometimes have the hearts of a lion and then they have the heart of a mouse....Tavernier is the main protagonist... he has saved us time and again and yet costs us so often too. He was shite for a lot of today, pish set pieces, poor decisions and yet he scores the free kick.... 
 
Our players were definitely quivering in the first 20 minutes. Sima, Cantwell, McAusland all looked overwhelmed by the occasion. Dessers  is just shite but that failure to shoot was 100% shitebaggery
 
It is hard to ignore the repeated choking of the same players even if they do occasionally step up... I don't think the accusation of shitebaggert can be completely dismissed

We all hear about teams having a bogey team and ours is sadly them now. It's more shock than not when we don't get beat to outsiders watching on this past decade. 
It's nothing to do with ability because there team today especially in defence was as poor as ours in attack. We don't have the belief we can beat them, simple as that.

Players don't turn up because there's no mentality to turn up. There's no consequences in their eyes. Been like that since the dressing room hierarchy has been in place.
Change that then see the mentality change.

Against them in the past decade we have been pathetic. 
I mean we have managed to get to a European final, beat the likes of Dortmund, Betis and others yet against them 9 times out of 10 we get turned over.
Folk say its not mentality but it absolutely is.
For our club our record against them is a disgrace and we need several players punted from our starting line up to change this. Next month and the summer is massive

Check that for a handball and possible penalty. Yes he handled it, that's a penalty... ok so now there is a consequence, run it back 5 seconds ... was he offside... yes... ok original infringement is offside and free kick from there ...
can say what you like, we didn't lose today because of that chain of events, and lingering on it just detracts from the facts and makes us no better than them on the "always cheated, never defeated" front... it should have been offside... end of....
I am grateful every day that I was born into a Rangers family and its because I would never want to be like them ... always the victim... so forgive me if I would rather just take what little positives there were from today and put faith in PC being able to win this league... 

Agreed but you can be shite at football and also lacking in courage (Dessers)... you can also be good at football and lacking in courage .... we have seen the same players excel at football and also shrink and hide on big occasions.... 
Its baffling.... but we have had players in the past that had courage in spades and were limited footballers, in fact courageous players are what I was brought up with in the Rangers teams ...

There was no explanation at the time but early in the second half after the entire sky team said it was a stonewaller, it was explained that the penalty wasn't given because there was an offside in the build up. They then showed the lines of the offside and it was a clear offside.... Its not cheating. He was offside.... we can't argue that he wasn't offside, so no penalty.... 
And it doesn't matter anyway because if we had a better striker we would have scored before that, if we defended a simple corner better we wouldn't have conceded the first goal. No one was picking up the goal scorer and the defensive header was woeful, he should have headed it out the park not back into the attacking area.
We lost that game because we weren't good enough on the day and given that we were down to the bare bones and in front of 50k scum supporters it is no surprise. Much stronger and better Rangers teams have gone to that dump and lost by more goals than we did today.... Clement will fix this I have every faith and I don't have a doubt in my mind that we will beat them at Ibrox when we are back to something resembling full strength

Not as down in defeat as I normally am. I'm in a place where I can kinda see the woods for the trees. 
Big Phil can only piss with the cock he's got and he's squeezed every last bit of pish out that cock since he's got here to get us back into the title race, top our Europa group and win the cup. He simply could not get anymore remarkable achievement out this squad and nothing was lost today. 
Dessers simply can't start in the fixture again. That's the first thing that absolutely has to be addressed in January.

Knew the shitebags patter would come out. Is it maybe also down to the fact that they do and have had better players than we have had at our disposal? They have players there who would fetch upwards of £15m. We have a right back in midfield, a youth player out wide and a largely depleted squad. This was never gonna be an easy game to win.

Said it before and I will say it again, questions needs asked about who benefited from us signing Dessers and Lammers. If those two signings didn't involves some sort of backhander to someone then I just have no explanation. At boys club level you tell the CF to be on the side of the park as our defender in possession as clearances typically go up the same channel. Too often Dessers was miles away on the wrong side.
His hold up and link up play is abysmal.
He's the least instinctive forward in the league.
His decision making and finishing rank rotten.
He runs as if he's shutting down the defender/ keeper but holds back from doing so when he actually gets there.
He's got that glaikit fucking look about him, as have too many at the club, he have found themselves in a movie they just don't get their role or how their meant to do it.
Other than all that - he's shite and a waste of fucking jersey and wages.
 
 

Rangers can say in AGMs all they like about how they challenge things to the proper authorities in private and don't hide etc. 
But they need to do it publicly also so it gets people talking and more awareness and defend the club at every opportunity. We have let Sky Sports make digs of Penalty Rangers and ClydeSSB etc and let it go.

When the Ref saw that tackle last night he KNEW it was a Red, you could tell he knew by the way he gave the yellow almost in a. way that was like "I am giving you this for now but will see what VAR says" its an abdication of responsibility and he is understandably terrified to make the call as he knows he will be hounded... The Authorities have to put a stop to this. Even the managers (Barry Robson on Sunday and Craig Levein Last night) are saying that there is nothing untoward going on.... even some of the managers know enough is enough
