The standard of women’s football, goalkeeping aside, has massively improved. It will continue to improve long-term with the improved funding it will now receive.
Even if you don’t buy in to new-fangled concepts like equality of opportunity, or the idea that women can do things, this makes business sense. 
Like it or lump it, women’s football has become a massive growth area in the sport. The women’s World Cup showed an emerging market for it, and we know it’s going to be pushed to the moon in the next 5 years. 
It would be a terrible decision to not make sure our club/brand are as big a part of this as possible.

I think it became a topic of conversation amongst the fans, particularly in relation to Morelos, so him coming out & saying something I suppose cuts out any concerns of letting them away with it.

If a McCrorie loan is his desire, then it has to be another SPFL Premiership team where he'll play every week or a good championship team in EFL.
