Being Arsenal's best player isn't really an achievement at the moment.  Are they not in the bottom half of the table? Don't pay much attention to the EPL. It's Rangers or no cunt for me. Will occasionally watch cup game like big vs small or cup finals from any country though.

He's been quoted before as saying there's no bond between them and that Benitez is the only one of his former managers he couldn't pick up the phone and have a chat to but if anything he seems disappointed about that. I've certainly never read anything about him not liking him.

How come when I brought this up, evercunt just slagged the state of the woman's game, but this ends up a fucking pinned thread?

Glasgow City got to the Semi final of the champions league last season and we have invested (relatively) heavily on our Women's side. Might take a season or two to click, but they're already looking sharp. Nicking 3 good Gtown city players is an obvious move which we pulled off and watching the highlights of that Motherwell game was quite good entertainment.  The lassie who papped in the hat trick on her Debut looks like a natural finisher, even with the MURDERwell team (my god they were hopeless) looking like a bunch of fat men playing Walking football.   Our team looked sharp playing  one two layoffs was quality considering that this is a brand new team. Could definitely see them win the league this year and do really well in the Champions league next season. 
That big lanky lassie that plays as an old style number 10 doesn't look like an athlete, but she knows how to read and play the game and can also find the back of the net. 
Only thing that I think is missing from the woman's game is a crunching tackle or two. I do agree that they aren't that great to watch, but they lassies wear the Rangers top so will always have my support and I will be stunned if they don't win anything this year. 
 
I know they mhanks also went full time like our girls, but watching that Old Firm game the other week showed that they haven't invested properly,  I know they beat us, but we really should have beaten them. They got a lucky goal to win the game near the end (mhanks be mhanks) our girls looked a bit stage frightened no doubt cause of the live tv cameras and expectation but it was there first time so they get a pass from me. Once they get the confidence they will do well. I'm willing to bet my house on it.

Yeah, it has given me the exact same feeling. Definitely something not right about that. Its all coming back to me now and it was the essential giving away your shares (or rather, your voice) that was the single reason why I never joined.
Plus, that 7500 she mentioned a page back. Was that not the EXACT same membership they had years ago? And by the sounds of it, she's using the Covid-19 thing as a reason why she can't put an exact number on how many members they have now.  
I'd be willing to bet that their numbers are nowhere near 7500 if what folk are saying is true.

Surely any organisation who is collecting money from people on a monthly basis should be having a transparent AGM every year. 
I have not paid any attention to them for a while, but reading posts in here the last couple of days has soon reminded me why I never joined in the first place.  

Yeah, I know it’s not a PLC being traded on the stock market.  I’d rather wait until it was a PLC and buy my own share.  Giving money to Club 1872 so they can speak for me isn’t something I’d be interested in.  But, I do hope they’re successful with this as I’d like to see them get a controlling stake in the club.
