Bearsden bear reacted to sausagetrunks in Kidding ourselves on
every team come to Ibrox and sit in, they know how to play us and SG does not know how to break them down lets be honest. STJ are fucking rank rotten.

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Zappa6995 in Barisic
.maybe but our only genuine goal threat from midfield. The rest have barely registered a goal and an assist between them

Bearsden bear reacted to Cedrick in Kamara
Already got a full midfield thst does that , neat tidy and doing ok is not good enough i’m afraid

Bearsden bear reacted to Sparkle in Barisic
Honestly thought Davis was worse. Barasic at least contributed a couple of decent corners, SD did nothing at all.

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Cedrick in Barisic
Same issue we've had all season. Davis was meant to add creativity (not happened).
Kamara is looking like another defensive mid that goes sideways and backwards. We are crying out for a box to midfielder but Arfield apart the others all do the same job.

Did more than Defoe. Put in graft and came close.
I'd start with him upfront if Morelos is out before Defoe. All day long.

Bearsden bear reacted to Broxi in Lafferty
We looked far more dangerous with him on the park than Defoe and not for the first time.
Not saying he's good enough either but at least he made some efforts on goal
-
Bearsden bear reacted to Valance1690 in Defoe and Lafferty potentially out
Defoe/Lafferty are worrying but hopefully one of them pull through for tomorrow, if not then has to be Kent.
Another setback to Dorrans aswell apparently, time to cut our losses with him as it's becoming a joke now, just as bad as Rossiter

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Blumhoilann in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
What seems to be happening here is a poor man's VAR which tries to correct all the refs decisions 2 days after our game has finished!
For example all being equal, If the CO was operating VAR vs sheep McGregor would be given a red, the sheep a pen and we end up losing that game!! However I think we all know the ref seen it and its the type of challenge /motion that goalies make up and down the country without anyone raising an eyebrow.
The SFA should stick to clear and obvious 'off the ball' incidents only. That's the problem with this type of thing. It starts as one thing and evolves into something else. It's another reason VAR scares me.

Bearsden bear reacted to Bears r us in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
I have said that all along since the game, when most goalies come out and smother the ball on the ground and start sliding along the ground they put up a leg to try and stop themselves getting hurt.
I have no doubt many of our fans would have thought the same if it had been Wes, but A Mc is still not liked by many, and while I can understand the reasons for that, he has saved us on so many occasions since he came back.

It is trial by TV now and we will be more scrutinised than others teams. Pundits like Stewart, Sutton etc will see to that.
The system itself is a joke. No confirmation who's reviewing incidents and no information how they have come to the decisions made.
It's all cloak and daggers when it needs to be wide open. A detailed explanation how similar challenges are coming up with different results each time would be good.

Bearsden bear got a reaction from BridgeIsBlue in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
Its clear to me that Greegs and Alfredo are only now paying for earlier indiscretions.
After the old firm game the knives were out and Alfredo was always gonna cop it first opportunity. McGregor has had a few iffy moments and escaped, again this time it was payback.
Point is these incidents are obviously not looked at in isolation with clear eyes. Previous perceived issues and media noise are influencing the decisions. Just not sure how we can best change this to get a fair crack of the whip?

Bearsden bear reacted to Negri's lovechild in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
There are some wild inconsistencies in how teams are disciplined. They do need to take either the hardest line possible when referees are being criticised or do nothing. Picking and choosing when to fine clubs does make it look like there's an agenda.

Can't remember really
I just have some memory of thinking McCrorie made a clumsy challenge and couldn't really argue with the sending off.

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Malkster in Compliance Officer Role
From what I understand the reason it was introduced was to capture any off the ball incidents that the ref would usually not see if keeping up with play.
Seems somewhere along it has lost its purpose and is starting to resemble something more sinister.

We were mucking about last week on the winter league and I anctualky preferred it in. I think that everyone should be keeping it in for long putts to speed up the game.
