Gerrard and Beale set out the best way to play them in August and every other game in the past 18 months. You sit with the forward line on the half way line and block any passes from the centre halfs into midfield and completely overload them that way. Any deeper than that you give them too much space and any higher than that you can get hit with pace.
If you win the ball in the areas where the forward line or midfield is you can turn them pretty quickly which we can do with Kent or Diallo or Sakala etc. I think we struggled to do that at Ibrox because we played Alfie and Roofe, Kent was struggling with injuries and we had no Tav which made us struggle with width - we dont have these issues going into Wednesday!

Personally I am more concerned about the whole main coaching team leaving particularly ,Michael Beale. I was delighted when he joined us.His influence on the players was considerable and very positive.
The attitude and wholesale commitment of  all of the players in now essential.
It will be an interesting watch...I hope they deliver and don't let us down.

Like Glasgow Cardiff had a massive influx of economic migrants from Ireland, around 1/3 of the population was Irish, however unlike Glasgow there was no sporting institution that became a focal point for the worst of violent Irish Republican ideology and rabid anti British sentiment. celtic are and always have been the drivers of sectarianism in Scotland. 

To point the finger at only one faction to the problem of sectarianism in the west of Scotland is in fact the problem. Calling out one side makes him look like the bigot. I never heard theses historians complain when celtic were winning. Tom Devine is an educated man blighted by religion.
Until schools are integrated and children are seen as one for at least a generation, sectarianism will continue to exist. Take away catholic schools and you take away their martyrdom. It will never happen.

McGivern  was  last featured demanding a response from the club on H and H but  I have seen nothing since.
Clearly the action in highlighting historic abuse by certain of their reporters has made them rein their spleen in about that issue and general negativity about us.
They did not cover the Godley exclusive...covered extensively by all the media in  Scotland..even the National propaganda rag front paged it..for obvious reasons.
