beatler24 2
I actually think it's a wise deal that removes them from a CVA, thus increasing its chances of success, especially with HMRC, for a 37p to 41p in the pound deal, whilst offering an incentive to Whyte to do the deal and hand shares over for freedom from future liability for the debt. Add in the ten years to repay and the 2 year payment holiday, we are potentially in a much better place than we have been in arguably more than a decade.37p to 41p in the pound seems very high to me. Will this depend on outcome of the tax case? I think we will be talking 12p to 18p in the pound, just a guess on what I have seen in other cases. Frankie 505
I think we can trust TB's info. Congratulations to TBK - lots of hard work ahead now. Hopefully more details of how they intend to secure the future of the club filter out.

BEARGER 339
I m not sure I go along with that. Rangers had strong figures that didn't need fans groups; we need people who know of Rangers in the game and will stop the tide going against it.Like SDM or CW ? I'm done with one man owning OUR club. I will not invest one penny if we the fans are not represented on the board. Chuck_Fickens
Amac9 2,060
Great news if true.I would rather have us finishing mid table for a few years as The Rangers rather than go into liquidation.

gunslinger 270
So liquidation is no longer on the cards then?Is that a cast iron guarantee by TBK's?of course not. but it was a cast iron guarantee to happen under miller.

deleteduser1 169
At long long last! Light at the end of the tunnel. Said for a while that my gut instinct tells me TBK will be good for The Rangers so I hope and pray my instincts are right on this one , assuming of course TBK do in fact take over our magnificent club. Guardian 4,281
of course not. but it was a cast iron guarantee to happen under miller. So a vote for TBK doesn't mean no liquidation.A few folk seem to be getting the notion that it's TBK or liquidation, when in fact both could be the same thing.Lets see if mini gets on with it now the ball is in his court. Surely things will start happening, or will he just find someone else to blame. ?I hope he can deliver cos if not he'll need a house next door to Salman Rushdie. BRITNEY IS NOT FEELING IT 8,293
BRILLIANT NEWS . saved from liquidation is good enough for me , followed by a favourable outcome regarding the big tax issue , then three points on Sunday and finding out exactly who TBK are .( if hmrc are happy enough for a cva with TBK , how will this effect the larger case , hopefully favourable troops )
BMC 125
Have we any idea who TBK really are? It must be a consortium I mean.
