Kiernan has been an absolute bombscare in a variety of ways and I understand everyone's concerns. However, he has shown in flashes, IMO, that he does have some ability. We've not seen a lot of it admittedly but he's no doubt been hampered by Warburton's extremely offensive style and lack of defensive focus, lack of attention to the opposition, insistence on playing from the back despite the opposition pressing high, and also continually playing Kiernan through a horrible run of form.

Maybe, just maybe, a break from the first team, a reality check, a new manager, and a new team focus on actually defending may, just may see an upturn in performance. He's certainly hanging on to his Ibrox career with the last thread, so let's see if Pedro can somehow rejuvenate the guy. Optimistic loyal!

Wilson hasn't been particularly brilliant recently either, he keeps losing possession and passing to the other team. I don't think Kiernan playing is as big a disaster as some are making out. He'll probably heid one in from a corner.
