hammer93 15,057
Jim McColl tried to get on board with us......"shows us yer money was the cry" McColl wanted in but was resoundingly beaten in the vote....A self made billionaire who wouldn't stump up his own money but who has? Jim McColl is a businessman first and foremost and a very successful one at that!!!! This week I watched the launch of a ship from the Ferguson ship yard with more to come from what was an ailing shipyard.......in front of my eyes in the last few years I have witnessed my football club severely ail with no money and poor teams!!!! 1 Biggest home loss to the tims 2 A 27yr home record to Aberdeen gone 3 The most humiliating result in Europe in our history 4 Hamilton winning at Ibrox for the first time in 90 odd years 5 Tonight losing to the bottom club who have been dire all season Do people on here genuinely believe all this would or still be happening if McColl had got in the doors to power? Admin...please move if you think necessary
K.A.I 36,183
JIm McColl is a yes voting cunt I’d rather maintain our current position than have snake bastards like him own us
MFJ14 464
There is absolutely no point in thinking over what may have been. Less focus on that and more on what the fuck were doing now. We need something to happen imminently.
The Specky Forum Organiser 65,071
Jim McColl spent more money trying to push through a yes vote thasn he did on us when we were at our lowest ebb. Fuck him.
bluechip 359
If Jim McColl was a real Rangers man, he wouldn't sit back and watch this heartache.
five stars 1,634
If Jim McColl wanted to invest in Rangers he would of by now. But yes, he'd probably do a better job.

siddiqi_drinker 14,635
If had bee really interested he would have bought, or at least invested in, the club. He was another figment of Mini's fukking imagination, just like Kennedy and the 'potential investors' he said were lined up when King and his cohorts got in. gmcf 34,322
Iirc , Jim McColl was at a fans meeting around the CG era and while he supported us I'm sure he said he hadn't the time or the finances ( I think they're tied up ) to take an active part . Dont see that changing.

Young Bob 1,360
One thing I respect McColl for is walking away from Paul Murray, yonformer BT HR dude (had RST connections), Malkie and the other one. He had all the RFFF bams in his HQ prior to that and eventually saw sense. Guy with a pile of cash chased by the fear of a bunch of eejits. Smart guy. Big Al 55 9,279
He's not a fan...not like us. If any of us had access to billions we'd have made a move...even as part of a consortium. That's the difference...even rich Hearts fans are stepping up...ours are too busy by the looks of it.
Smile 26,610
Did he not state he wanted to help but not in monetary terms or be part of the Board. Or is that someone else I'm thinking of.
