With regards to Michael Beale's statement about loyalty after he knocked back Wolves - As Stuart Pearce said on TS today - there isnt a club in the league that hasnt fully backed a manager only to sack him the following week!

I’ve been quite critical of him as a manager during his spell with us, but I’m gutted it didn’t really work out for him here. It never sat well with me when people started calling him a cunt and the like. Gio is one of the good guys and never deserved that.

Very classy guy. Was certainly not a terrible failure either he can rightly point to some terrific highs.

I'll back him when he gets appointed. 
It's just underwhelming and lazy appointment from the board imo. I'd not be surprised if the players had a big say in this one as well. 
Hopefully he goes onto to be a big success for us. Just worry about the lack of experience. Being a coach at us to being the manager is a massive step.

One has three league titles and a 3rd place Bundesliga finish under his belt, the other has a decent 20 games at QPR.

Beale isn't my choice and I think he's underwhelming but I'll 100% back him, instead of tugging myself off thinking about asking "gotcha" questions at his first press conference.
You can guarantee that a good portion of the people who are slating the appointment were all in favour of it when it looked like he was going to Wolves.  Either you were wrong then or you're wrong now. Time will tell.

Legitimately one of the worst substitute performances I can remember seeing. 
 
Looks an absolutely awful player and he doesn’t even seem to have pace, which you’d at least expect given he was supposedly the quickest player at Man City. 
 
Unsure if he was hooked for an injury or for poor performance but if it’s the latter he can have no complaints. 
 
Ross Wilson’s buying record is looking increasingly poor with each passing game.
