He certainly strengthens our bench - and if we compete on all fronts we have a lot of games - he is experienced many of our central midfielders arnt - he can spell / replace Steve Davis especially when we need experience - great addition to the squad

Statistics can be misleading at times ( the fact Jones is not seen on the stat sheet for the second goal yesterday ) but Ojo has already proved that he will blow Candeias out the water this year in stats alone. I reckon around 15 goals and 10 assists.

Second goal was brilliant play from Jones. Also a really good team goal.
Morelos carrying the ball from the half way line on his own was absolute class too.

Tremendous play from Davis for Defoe's third, there's not many players in Scotland who could take that first touch, skip by a couple of defenders and dink a perfect ball back post for the assist. Quality stuff.

A team can never totally dominate for 90 mins. You'll always have a lull

I’m just happy with a win.  Last season we struggled to take 3 points off teams like Kilmarnock and Hibs.  Feeling disappointed over a 6-1 win is unreasonable.

I wouldn’t be disappointed at 6. It looked nervy at 2-1 until red card. We look ruthless and clinical this season

Rangers fans were in fine voice in Denmark.
More than 700 supporters of the Ibrox side took in their team's 4-2 win over FC Midtjylland at the MCH Arena.
Alfredo Morelos gave Steven Gerrard's men a half-time lead before Joe Aribo and Nikola Katic put the side three up. The Danes hit back and brought it back to 3-2 but Scott Arfield added what could prove to be a crucial fourth for Rangers.

It was reported on Wednesday that Midtjylland had increased security for the match following incidents at Rugby Park on Sunday for the Govan side's opening league fixture.
However, as expected by the Danish side's security manager, Lars Pedersen, who said the club's impression was that Rangers fans "are ordinary people who just want to enjoy themselves and enjoy a good football match", there were no incidents to speak of.

And that was backed up by local police who tweeted praise for Rangers and their fans.
MV-Jyllands Politi posted: "Congratulations to Rangers FC. What a match! Together with FC Midtjylland fans you created a wonderful athmosphere at the stadium. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Herning. We wish you a safe jouney back to Scotland."
A Rangers fan replied: "When ticketing systems & turnstiles are properly governed,when the local police and stewards welcome you, when the local pubs and restaurants entertain you, we do love to mix with others and enjoy the atmosphere and occasion. Thanks for having us and showing others how it’s done."
Another said: "It's amazing how far a bit of mutual respect will go ... it will never catch on in Scotland!"

Don’t think many/any knew anything  or were excited about  Kent when he first arrived.
My lasting impression of Barker playing against us was that he was fast as fuck, very direct and would shoot from anywhere.
I honestly think he’ll prove a more than adequate replacement for Kent.

Our players wide left have had a tendency to turn back and play safe af times rather than really driving on and committing fullbacks. I think that directness at pace is what this kid will bring us for starters.

They had some good players and were dangerous

You talk as if Barisic has failed at Rangers.  He's still starting matches for us and will probably start against Hibs at the weekend.  I can understand why he missed out tonight due to the physicality of the other team but that's a tactical decision.  Gerrard brought Barisic here, he still believes in him, and hopefully he has a great season at Rangers.

I think he’ll give us a quick and direct option on the wing which we don't have outwith Jones. I can see your point but i’ll judge him after he’s played a few games first 👍
