  1. It was Dick Advocats spending that caused our current cash crisis, that combined with the poor player aquisition and management prior to the Kanusas game.
  2. 1.5 Mil pounds or euros is far to low for one of our key players (although he has been on a poor run of form so far this season). We should be looking at a fee around the £2.5 mil mark. I know we are in debt, but we still should'nt be letting any of our players go on the cheap. There should be plenty of competition for a player of that caliber.
  3. I was thinking the same thing myself. I bet she stopped filming pretty sharpish after mcculoch scored lol.
  4. I feel it should not have been a free kick which led to the goal. I was raging when it was given so I am quite glad the goal was chopped off.
  5. Did anyone see the bit where he nearly admitted being a celtic fan, realised what he was saying and changed to a celtic point of view (lol what an arse). He was also raging at Laffertys challenge on Hinkel and started going on about Lafferty faking injury against Aberdeen. I also didn't think it was a free kick leading up to fortunes goal, oops I mean push on Mcgreggor.
  6. because he's playing centre mid not left wing his natural position Because he gets plenty of time and space in the championship, whereas here opposition teams close down our players quickly. Same reason donkeys like Rae and wasters like Burke get regular games and appear to cope well. I felt Burke was one of our most creative and exciting players and was sad to see him go (especially since we paid to get rid of him). How we could have done with him on the right side of midfield this season.
  7. Both wingers were immense (I never thought I'd be saying that this season).
  8. Our midfield is non-existent (goes AWOL in most matches) and we are only creating a fraction of the chances that we used to. We are severely lacking creativity on the wings (why on earth we let Burke go, I will never know). We are unable to retain possession due to the fact that most of our players are unable to make space for themselves and are incapable of carrying out the simplest pass. The defence on the whole are unable to man-mark effectively when we are under pressure and often leave opposition players unmarked in the box. Teams are starting to target Whitaker’s inability to defend down the right hand side and we are starting to loose a lot of goals from that side. Until we get the very basics right we have no chance!
  9. Damn it thats why I cant recall him from loan at Dundee Utd in FM2010.
  10. Which is precisely what would happen. He's grown on me the last few months. Sure, he should have buried the chances in the last few matches... but not every player scores every time there is a chance. Far from it. First 2 names on the teamsheet.. Shagger, Boydy. I would add Davis to that also! (First 3 names on the team sheet)
  11. Last year I calculated the win % for the games Boyd started in against the games he did not start in. Let's just say the difference was significant to say the least (In Boyds favour). So anyone who says he does not make a difference to the team is talking absolute bollocks.
  12. Should the thread title not read - Half a season wonder!
  13. Id go with 3 up with Miller, Boyd and Nacho.
  14. Yes for me. Although in my opinion he should have be playing regularly in the big games anyway.
  15. Nope he can warm the reserve bench till January, then we should get rid off him to the highest bidder. Im not interested in players who dont give a sh** about the club. Goodbye Boogie!
  16. He was brought of as a precaution (tight calf).
  17. He'll not play at the piggery! If he carries on playing the way he has, he should be head of the cue to play in that game. At the moment he is the best striker we've got! He's always been the best striker we have got regardless of his current form.
  18. not so sure about that we have harder workers in the team than boyd, Yes we do, but none are nearly as effective as him.
  19. Boyd for me. He has consistantly banged in the goals for us for nearly 4 seasons now. Mols could have potentially been a great, however due to the injury at the start of his rangers career he only played a handfull of games for us. Also Negri looked awesome for 4 months, but went of the boil after his eye injury.
  20. He was good enough for us when we had a strong team, and I thought he was one of our best players when he was playing at CM. For those who think he wouldnt be good enough for us, I dont really think you realise how far our standards have dropped in the last couple of years.
  21. Cant be far off the 100 pages now. Well done Boyd and keep it up!
  22. Just imagine if we had Bougie, Cuellar and Hutton in that defence.
  23. Why's there no option for Mcculloch?
  24. Looks like we are getting f***** in Europe once again. How the hell do Lafferty and Mcculloch justify a start on recent performances? When is Boyd going to be given a chance? He may not be perfect but he is a lot better than half the total wasters we have in the team at the moment. Same old crap formation, same old crap lineup, same old crap performance and inevitably the same old crap result. When is Walter going to bloody learn. I am raging and not looking forward getting humped by a load of amateurs (again). Your positivity is refreshing Actually I am usually quite positive . Unfortunately however I was at Ibrox the last time Mcculloch and Lafferty were played out of position in Europe. I was hoping that maybe some lessons may have been learned that night. Obviously going on tonights lineup that is certainly not the case. Anyway I can always hope that I am wrong. Time will tell.
