  1. Enjoyed reading that. This line stuck out for me:- "I'm tough when I need to be tough. I know what needs to be done, I know how to do it, And I'm focused on getting it done".
  2. Kenny Dalglish, Danny McGrain ,Murdo MacLeod.
  3. Was my youngest boys first ever game at Ibrox, a present for his 7th birthday. A day I will never forget, for many reasons!
  4. Terrible news, his chipped winner into the top corner in the LC final of 82 v Dundee Utd is one of my fondest memories as a young Rangers supporter. Also remember a long range winner v St Johnstone at Muirton park. Always thought he was undervalued as a Rangers player. Thoughts with his family.
  5. Probably a bit of both. The fact that it was not the Mhanks winning everything as Aberden and Dundee Utd had their best sides ever, possibly made it a bit more bearable. Although I did not think this at the time!
  6. Terrible news, thoughts with the boys family.
  7. A friendly against Buckhurst Hill FC would be handy for you, would it not?!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Miss the buzz of the scum games, fear it might be a bit too early for us. If we get them..... Let the battle commence.
  9. Was in the West Enclosure that night, the atmosphere was unbelievable. I remember ' Mad Dog' MacGregor doing Igor Belanov early doors, IIRC he was European footballer of the year at the time and arguably their best player. He got carried off and the rest is history.
  10. Berbatov, lazy demonstrative bastard, if he had the desire to put in a shift he would be one of the best.
  11. My old man has worked at Ibrox for thirty years and told me that Gazza would regularly ask him for one of his Roll-ups after a game on a Saturday! Steven Davis also a smoker.
  12. Was there that day, The one and only time I stood in the old away end at Ibrox!
  13. Yes, all three of my boys are Rangers supporters Anything less and I would be a failure as a father.
  14. Cuellar-best defender Bougherra-better all round footballer Papac- consistent, good club servant A combination of all three would would be some player!
  15. Enjoyed that, thanks for posting. Brings back many memories, what a player.
