I actually don't mind him, but he just goes through these spells of boosting his ego by getting one over on someone because he's not said precisely what someone may interpret from his post.

Honestly the forum all day today has been your wee ego trip. 
Anyway, the reason I don’t think it is likely to have had a big impact on morale is because half the current squad barely know the guy. This all went down like two months ago so there’s a decent chance half of them barely met him.
Also - as far as the players will know - he was sacked for selling stuff on the side. Whether that ends up being fair or true is for the Employment Tribunal to decide, but it’s mental to think players on £40k a week are suddenly chucking it because we sacked the guy who does the kits.

Think he was getting to the point where he was winding people up to keep himself going.
No harm as he does make good points and contributes, but sometimes he just goes on one of those wind up moods.

We finally looked like a team tonight. 
Butland, Tav, Lundstram and Roofe take your fucking hats off. 
We might just be alright btw. 

Lundstram has deserved criticism at times, but his European performances (excluding Malmo) have been incredibly good. I thought he was magnificent tonight, not just in his application, but in his vocal communication. He was a leader out there tonight.

Imagine how many Dessers and Lammers we could buy with that kind of cash. 
 

I think you're both being slightly harsh. It wasn't so much about the finish but more about the touch before that which prevented him from opening his body to get a proper strike on the ball. At the pace he was running at the touch surely can be forgiven?

Interesting one - take a couple of ‘first names on the team sheet’ out, & we get our first big win in ages.
