On BBC: Blue Knights spokesperson "We believe that we have the best interests of Rangers Football Club at heart and our motives reflect a thorough understanding of the position that Rangers holds in Glasgow and indeed Scottish football. "We believe that our bid was and remains the best bid for Rangers Football Club and its supporters. "We were therefore surprised and disappointed to be informed earlier today that a preferred, non- exclusive bidder has been appointed which appears to entail the transfer of the assets and Rangers business into a NEWCO structure. "Whilst we acknowledge that the acceptance of a NEWCO structure would be easier for Duff and Phelps to execute, we were not prepared to follow that course of action."
I agree mostly, but I still think that a ten point deduction for going into adminstration was the right thing, but the punishment has been served and any further attempts to essentially punish us for the same wrongdoing would be egregious.
I think that he has played his last game for us, but he has been a fantastic servant to the club. Always hugely dependable in any situation and did well to shake off the PLG "curse", to go on to become one of our most important players. Sasa
I'm more worried about the fact that their fans routinely trash our stadium, breaking seats etc and we don't hear a peep about arrests for vandalism, despite clear evidence. OP, I assume you mean that a Rangers fan has been arrested?
On FF there are a select few who are shouting the anti-Miller stuff from the rooftops and are shouting down any opposition to TBK's. The rest of the posters on there are either being dragged along with the anti-Miller hysteria or if they are being accused of having their heads in the sand
If it came to that, in some ways inwould rather have Miller's bid, as he clearly has planned for this sort of route from day 1, so one would hope that the process with him might be less messy
