  1. Instead we are getting cuffed off of 4th tier amateur US "soccer" teams
  2. Chuck in Foster and Daly and its a deal!!
  3. Can't understand this signing at all. It's clear that McCoist has no faith in Gallacher and if I was him would look to leave. Simonsen is 35 FFS, and given his abject performance against the Dundee Hivs last year then it makes no sense at all!!
  4. DJ has finally grown a set, well put big man !!
  5. Better not be the new home top!! Very, very poor effort if it indeed is
  6. A good couple of attempts to play devil's advocate in this thread... looks like there are no takers though!
  7. Based on historical experience, we will probably end up paying him off in a couple of months from now...
  8. Dont forget about big Gordan Petric too, he was fucking root!!
  9. We initially played Albertz as a LB for the first season or so. He didn't really come into his own until he was moved to his natural left sided central midfielder position. Thus began the legend of the "Hammer".
  10. http://metro.co.uk/2014/05/02/disabled-pensioner-88-in-court-for-punching-council-official-who-banned-him-from-seeing-prostitute-4716832/
  11. Add McCoist, McDowell and Durrant to that list and we might be getting somewhere!!
  12. Almost forgot about him. What a pathetic signing he was.... was absolutely mince, even in the lowest division in Scotland. Hopefully lessons have been learned about buying pish that need to be paid off handsomely at a later date. I had hoped we had got away from this after finally getting rid of the tan-man Bain
  13. I don't think he deserves another contract to be fair. Hutton is overall an OK player but cannot see what he offers moving forward. He is decent at retaining possession and breaking up play but always found him very one dimensional and slowing down the tempo of our play. He is not blessed with pace to drive at defenses and does not posses the vision to open up play with through balls. He is the archetypal 6/10 player, steady but offers nothing that many others could do. We would be better off putting Macleod back to the center and perhaps trying to bring one of the young players through from the under 20's (Murdoch, Walsh, Telfer, Ramsey.. sure one must be good enough ??) . He is 23 now and better off looking to build his career elsewhere because don't see how he has the required attributes to be a first team regular for Rangers. Plus we need to cut our wage bill somewhere !!
  14. I don't believe that Ally is the right man for the job in the longer term. But still you cannot argue that he has got results in the league this season. However, what he must realize that the fans will never accept the sort of crap performance that has been dished up on a regular basis, a Rangers side should never be huffing and puffing trying to scrape a draw against part timers. All we want to see is that the side is progressing and a style of play / strategy is being developed for when we return to the topflight. Planning from hand to mouth each season and plodding along in second gear is not acceptable. We have seen in flashes this side can play well (Dunfermline in the cup / last night etc) but these are all to seldom. What Ally and his handsomely paid coaching staff need to do is to be able to focus the squad to perform somewhat close to these levels on a regular basis and not just when they feel like it. Also, that we are planning for the future, particularly with signings and blooding young players so we don't have to keep relying on signing overpaid players at the twilight of there careers. Hopefully the penny will drop for him one day, but so far based on his comments the last week or I'm afraid I don't think it has yet...
  15. You mind elaborating a little more on this?
  16. It really is indicative of Ally's obsession with shoehorning in all available "senior" players to his matchday squad at all costs. It is an unfortunate trait he has picked up from Walter, where in general younger players are not trusted unless there are no other practical alternative. He would much rather stick Steven Smith as a left winger or Moshni upfront, Faure at centre mid etc than give, in his eyes untested young players a chance to shine
  17. Fritzl's brain must be completely addled. Either that or he has become so accustomed to lying, telling half-truths that he actually believes the shit that comes out his own mouth. A common affliction amongst the great unwashed...
  18. Foster is a player still dining out on a single half decent performance against Valencia. Everyone other game he has continued to prove he is not, never was and never will be good enough to be a regular first team player for Rangers.... Regardless of division we're playing in
  19. There are some who totally overrate the quality of football in Scotland. I would be very confident that our current squad could and should achieve at least a top 6 finish in the so called "Premiership". Frankly the teams in that league, bar the taigs are pish. If we fail to comfortably win the Championship next season with the wage bill / resources we have then frankly quite it would be a disgrace.
  20. "Celtic fan plagued town"... I like the choice of words there, they are indeed a terrible affliction to bestow upon any town
  21. hahhahaha...... brilliant, those bastards getting knocked out has made my day
