    Can't make a real judgement yet as you'd need to see all the permutations in practice, but I really like Edmundson and he's only gonna get better. Got a feeling Katic could end up as 4th choice this season.

    Need to see him against better opposition tbh, but I think the fact he's still here and getting his chance says he's probably got enough to do a job for us, as a rotational player at least. Gerrard has had long enough to make the proper judgement.

    Great contribution from Barasic today. He had a shaky first half but he grew into the game. Hope he can kick on now.

    He was a bit sloppy when playing deeper in the second half but as you say, very early days. There were definite signs of quality there.

    Not sure how it's irrelevant? I'm just saying that's why I think Katic isn't starting games atm, I don't think there's anything to read into re. partnerships.
