philiprfc reacted to RangersMedia in AGM
I really wish someone had asked Robertson how on earth he can say "we are close to financial stability" and "we don't need to sell a player despite what you read in the press" when the club's financial accounts are public material and clearly indicate we have been hemorrhaging losses for years now.
Running off investor loans = not financially stable. If you constantly need a cash injection for ongoing working capital purposes via debt/equity, you are not financially stable.

Again with people trying to downplay how Gerrard did for us as a manager and make it look like he did fuck all when that clearly isn’t the case.
It’s getting boring now tbh. People need to let it go and move on.

Thought we looked really good in spells. Later on when we sat off them, looked like we changed to a 352 with Tav RCB, rode our luck at times but they had about 5 up top and tbh the offense is clearly the strongest part of their team. All in all a pretty good showing. Thought Bassey and Goldson were excellent along with Kamara.

Stand, Statue and the goddamn Street.
Walter Smith Drive sounds good to me

Stand and a statue imo

I think there are people in the team who could conceivably score the same amount roughly barring injuries.
We will however have to change how we play up top. It just never works without Alfredo.

If Ange is their Pedro, McCarthy feels like their Dorrans. (As much as we all wanted Dorrans to work out)
It's a hit and hope signing, rather than sensible.

It's probably safe to assume that the landscape of monitoring heart health in these type of medicals may have changed in the last few weeks given recent events.

The most important thing here is that this was identified, and can be treated, before anything potentially tragic happened.

Let’s be perfectly honest: neither you, nor I, have any knowledge or understanding of footballer’s medicals - more specifically which tests or checks are ran surrounding heart issues.
Ofoborh is a Rangers player, who’s potentially just found out he’s got a life changing heart condition. We hope that isn’t the case. The most important thing here is that one of our own needs our support, regardless of whether he’s kicked a ball for us.
I’m not saying you don’t care - obviously not saying that mate - but we could all chat all day about due diligence with medicals when none of us have a fucking scooby about what’s involved.

Unlucky, initially good reading from Middleton but Nketiah just on him like a flash. Making our own problems yet again.

Potentially being loaned out is the rumour

The Colombian fans I've saw on Twitter seem to really dislike Alfredo (in particular for some reason) and their other strikers, but I've watched one or two games of Colombia recently and what I will say is that they have some good players but as a team, they are fucking howling. Good at doing some complicated stuff like the set piece goal against Ecuador, but there's very little patterns of play, no cohesion, some of their better attackers like Cuadrado are ridiculously greedy. They don't really create a lot of chances. Doesn't seem like the sort of team/setup that a player like Alfredo will thrive in, and it seems the same for others like Zapata, who is a superb striker playing for a very good Atalanta team.

To be honest, nothing he says is wrong.
He has never claimed to be a superfan, he is not two faced in that regard. His club is Man Utd, and he will rightfully go down as one of if not the greatest manager of all time.
He is right, its no-ones fucking business who someone chooses to marry and that question was out of line. We as a club have rightfully moved on.
He obviously rates the job Gerrard is doing and that is massive praise.
