Clement post match interview, says he took him off  because he was cutting inside to often. Yet that's exactly how he scored against Sparta, cutting inside onto his left foot. Just hope an ego measuring exercise is not the basis for weakening the team. It's an absolute no brainer that Cantwell in place of Lammers is best for the team yet game after game we seeing Lammers start games and contribute nothing.

Manager has a big problem to sort out with Cantwell. Any player would be disappointed to be played out of position but to be pushed aside for Lammers would put you over the edge. Tonight's early change was justified but it was in my opinion wrong and Lammers should have been brought off and Cantwell moved into the 10 position. 
Clement has to be looking at bringing Hagi back in January to increase the quantity in the squad. Cifuentes and Lammers are becoming a long running joke but at least he seems to have made a decision on Dessers by once again leaving him on the bench.

We actually got worse as the game progressed.

Players are in a constant state of panic, not one has any composure when in the possession of the ball in the final third.

Thought he improved second half but his first 45 was so poor it would be difficult not to improve. Looked at him on YouTube before he signed and he looked like a midfielder who could see a quick forward pass and support the forward line. So far he hasn't shown anything at all and looks like he constantly opts for the easy option. Could be down to a lack of confidence,  doesn't look like a player that's settled into the demands of the game here.

Jack could have a role to play with us but he needs to retire from international football. Once again he has went away and came back in a condition that sees him unavailable for his club.

My issue is the way we started the game all of those mentioned are integral to how quickly the ball goes forward and once again they all wanted an extra touch and time on the ball before passing forward. They improved after we conceded but it's to late by then.

Not going to be to harsh on the performance we created enough to win comfortable today but weren't clinical. Balogun with two headers he would expect to score and Lammers at the end with another header which you expected him to miss. Outside of that Lawrence hits the bar and Roos makes a couple of decent stops. But it has to be said that this was the first real opportunity to close the gap and the way we started was poor with slow and ponderous play when we should have been flying from the start. Out lack of threat from the wide areas was apparent and we kept playing central to Danilo with his back to goal. 

All to offen against this lot we get sucked into a style of play that suits them. Middle of the park is scrappy with the ball in the air more than on the ground everything is a 50/50. Need more vision on the passing in the central areas, I'd have Cifuentes off and drop Cantwell back one place with Matondo or McCausland coming onto the right of the attack.
