He didn’t overly impress me tonight but I’m definitely of the opinion he will become a great player for us going forward. Would like to see him get a string of games with Grezda ahead of him and back to the Katic - Goldson centre back pairing and no more chopping and changing the defence.

See if gerrard tried to play the best 11 every game and they were inconsistent but looking like improving then fair enough he gets some slack cut, however his constant chopping and changing is a fucking riddy, play well and your dropped, but play shite and you stay in the team, this isnt the EPL where our squad is littered with stars and the top 6 can all beat each other, if the tarriers put a run together we're humped

My god did you see him against Aberdeen?   Our defence was solid when we had Goldson and Katic. Then what happens we bring in Worrall and the chop change starts ! Centre backs need to build an understanding we were getting there but now we have destroyed Katic and by the looks of it Goldson too!  Get rid of Worrall and get back to a settled partnership either Goldson  Katic or Goldson and McAuley  and stick with it

He needs at least 2 seasons to build his team but in the same way he has criticised his players decision making he needs to take a look at his own.
The back four in particular is tinkered with too much, Goldson was much more effective on the right CB slot and Katic/ Worrall were doing a job on the other.  McAuley is more than useful cover but if he isn’t up to playing regularly he shouldn’t be constantly upsetting the rhythm. 
He has a blind spot when it comes to certain players.. Ejaria (the guy will not make it at any decent level imo) and Flanagan shouldn’t  be played at left back again, he’s too one footed.  Halliday showed better balance in that area today as he has done a lot recently.
I’m not panicking as a strong 2nd and hopefully a Scottish Cup performance in the new year will be something to build on for this squad.  + the unmentionables will drop more points.  We need to try to just keep ourselves in the mix come Spring time.

McHugh knew exactly what he was doing the way he went down with his arm raised,  even the wee teuchter house elf on spurtscene could see it was a penalty.
