Lewis Ferguson or Ali McCann would have given e more than lundstram, young Stephen Kelly offers more but won't be risked. Gerrard doesn't seem to like giving our youth a go.

Poor start to his time here after he had a poor season last year as well. Not even shown much effort so far.
1st half he passed the ball then jogged into a busy area where he could avoid receiving a pass back.
He had Goldson shouting at him to mark a man which he ignored.
He won’t be in the starting 11 much longer if he doesn’t improve massively.

We should have been far more direct  with shots on goal and runs through the middle all thought the game. The wide play and crossing was never working for us against a physically big and strong well organized defence.

That's why u fucking shoot.  Deflections take the goalie out the game. It really boils my piss that we don't shoot enough at times.
