That's completely inaccurate.

Barisic was poor most of the time earlier in the season under Gerrard, when Gio came in he started to perform to a high standard especially defensively and the majority on here were praising him. There was the usual haters bringing laughable things against him like vs Hibs for example.

Apart from the game in midweek he has been performing well, set up the winner vs Livi, I do agree he needs to be given more freedom in attack and would perform better beside a Balogun than beside Bassey.

He's a young inexperienced player who has only played about 40 games for us, he's going to make mistakes. It's just part a parcel of playing young players.

Patterson did some dozy shit when he was in the team as well, it just comes with experience. Once Bassey's mind catches up with his physicality and bravery he will be an effective player for us.

I can't remember Patterson offering numerous simple errors like Bassey does.

He didn't only make one huge mistake, he made two today, also let crosses in and was caught under the ball often.

That's not based on his age, its based on bad defensive abilities.
