Lets be honest, old firm games arent exactly packing the tv audiences in because of the high quality football on show. It's the blood and snotters the viewers wish to see, with just the hint of a threat of a riot. I mean riot in the widest possible sense. For all the tut tutting over the hatred between the teams the hatred is also it's selling point.

I posted this quote when we got put down to the third division and people were giving up season tickets, then all the boycotts and nonsense.

I am happy we are selling so many tickets but I am particularly happy that all the people who vanished when we got demoted and gave up their season tickets allowed many people who couldn't get season tickets to get some and we can all be there as we step back where we belong. Everyone who stuck with the club during our darkest days I will always remember and be very proud of those people, they can say what they want, Gers fans caused no trouble and many smaller clubs were happy to see us. 
But not the ones racing back now we have won a few trophies and back in the SPL. The amount of games we sat with hardly anyone in our whole section over the years and now everyone is so desperate to be back. 
The club deserves a big support but as I said hats off to everyone who was there when noone else was.

I said I don't particularly give a shit about international football in general, and I don't. Obviously I will be supporting N.Ireland in the euros but I won't lose any sleep over any of it.

Scotland football team mean nothing to me , don't want them to get beat but also not arsed in the slightest of they win either , I also have an issue with the tartan tranny yes mhob can go and take two fucks to themselves as far as I am concerned , will happily support scotland in a rugby game particularly when they play England , but I feel nothing for the football team or association and have an issue with an element of their support who despise us just as much as any rabid celtic fan

I'm actually gutted at this. I'm 100% British but I'm also 100% Scottish. I always want us to win. I understand why so many Rangers fans hate the SFA but I can't understand why so many Scottish people don't want their national team to do well. I can't think of any other country in the world where their own people don't want their national team (in any sport) to win. Baffling

This should be the biggest wake up call ever for the SFA but nothing of substance will change. Scottish football has been a joke since the 90s at national level whilst the haters almost ruined it forever with their Rangers witch hunt.
Northern Ireland and Wales have qualified at a canter whilst playing positive football yet the SFA President, who coincidentally is a sheep shagger pal of Chesney's, is about to reward the inept little prick a new contract despite a calamitous end to a disappointing campaign.
The only thing of note in Scottish football is Rangers.
