don't see why people are moaning about McDowall not being consulted about these players. he resigned and clearly doesn't even want the job

Ally should hang his head in absolute shame for how he has ruined us....these Newcastle lads may or may not be good players but imagine had he actually bled our own youngsters in the third division we wouldn't need to do this! Happy with any player to improve us and give us a better chance of promotion but very short term thinking again!

Can we re-loan them to Cowdenbeath and Morton etc?

A lovely occasion. Well done for supporting one of our own, Bears, and to all of the players out there who can all count themselves as Bears for life too.
Great to see those old stars. Klos. Jeeso. He has the beginnings of man boobs, which I never expected from such a fit, professional character, but my-oh-my did he become the Klos of 15 years ago in a instant! Some of those saves were top class. And wee Rino. Never the most talented player, but you can see why he became such an important one for some great teams. Midfield terrier extraordinaire. So many heroes out there. Enjoy it while you can, folks, because the next generations of legends might be a little different.
But, anyway. It was an emotional day. I hope it helps the man to stay strong. And on a secondary note, many thanks to Fernando (and the organisers), because despite your illness you've managed to do what many have failed to do recently - you made it feel like Rangers again. And it was great to see so many kids there, being taught what it means. Once all of our problems are over, make sure you keep bringing them, Bears, and teaching them what it's all about. They are the key to a healthy future for this club.

A new manager in would have to weigh up the squad. McDowall knows the squad, so should easily be able to make changes. But I can't get past the basic fact of repeatedly playing underperformers does not help the team or motivate those who never get a chance.

Every team looks like they play good football against us.

Being happy with the wins is just sticking your head in the sand. We win ugly against teams we have more than 10x the resources and a lot of part timers. When we come against teams that are not too far behind us in resources we get played off the park. Winning against the minnows is just hiding all the problems - most of us see this. We need to prepare for the playoffs, which means beating teams like Hivs who have played us off the park 3 times. Continuing with the same formula is just madness and we will not get promotion. McDowall has very clearly showed he has no new ideas and cannot get us ready for the playoffs.

I'd say it's been proven beyond doubt we won't win each week playing as we do though, certainly not in a league like this that has a few full time teams in it anyway. Of course I could end up looking completely stupid and we'll win every game now until the end of the season but it's doubtful. You can surely accept my point that we've had a few small runs of wins this season not playing the best but we've ended up suffering more dreadful results not long after? We can't just keep going through the same cycle, someone needs to at least try and make big changes. Way I see it is Hearts are gone, 2nd amounts to the same thing as 3rd and 4th so I'd like to see us make progress in our footballing set-up in order to prepare for the play-offs rather than attempt to scrape a few wins together only to end up humiliated again soon. I was happy to give McDowall a chance to attempt his own ideas but he seems to literally be changing nothing.
