That press conference/interview with Naismith was the lowest thing that they could have done. I am not particularly interested in any of the ones that left, but those two I despise. Considering the circumstances at the time it felt like that pair of horrible traitors were twisting the knife. They may have been badly advised to do the interview but they didn't need to use the words that they did.

My fear is a Premiership team comes calling. The opportunity for a big payday may be too much to turn down (for both Lee and the club). Dependent upon the agent the lad has could be a big factor. My hope is that Lee is content with working his way to becoming a legend within our club.

Was in the Aberdeen end for that cup final. Was a full bus load of us in one section which was part of a shite hospitality deal (only way to get a ticket) which started off in the Hamilton Palace. We quickly realised we were fucked and sat calm.....once the goals started raining in during the second half some of the boys just went for it. Ended up with police and stewards surrounding us for the rest of the match.....still didnae stop those bastards showering us with cups of pish. That was our orange day as well.....we were all trussed up in suits because of the "hospitality deal". Cracking day.

Did well for his first game back. Wallace has a real presence when he rattles forward, which I do not think many full backs have, so Stevie is going to struggle to be a direct replacement. Looks like a steady pro who will be handy to have in the squad.

Comments regarding him being too expensive.....does anyone even know what wage he is on? Personally I couldnae care less what wage he is earning (and yes he is earning it). There have been plenty of comments about Mr Struth turning in his grave with recent events within our club, having Lee as captain of our club would, I believe, make Mr Struth content.

I am in the "couldnae care less" group of people when it comes to the national football team. There are several reasons why I have got to this stage.....probably all the way back to Roxburgh/Brown/Vogts time is when the rot started for me. Add this to that shower of jokers that embarrass us every time they play. Tartan Army, a shower of jakees that think everybody loves them for their jolly drunken antics....well they were not so loveable when I watched them boo one of their own players because he happened to play for Rangers (Boyd at Pittodrie). Despite the fact that he scored the winner that night they still booed the lad. That was it for me......the recent events have probably killed any chane of me enjoying a Scotland game again. Rugby, Cricket, Andy Murray, Sir Chris Hoy, Stephen Hendry, Wee Rab Thornton, Lynsey Sharp.....I will support all of them because I am proud that they are Scottish and they are representing their, my country. Unfortunately I cannot support that national football team in the same way. Also, this needless independence vote is dividing this country. Nowadays it seems you cannot be proud to be British and a proud Scotsman. It seems you must be one or the other.

Reading the body language/signals at the top table at the AGM could be interesting. There is no way this is a satisfactory compromise, there has been too much dung thrown. Was it not the Murray/McColl team that have been questioning Mather's credentials/abilities/experience in the past few months? I find that a bit hypocritical considering Murray and McLelland sat through the mismanagement of the latter Murray (original Murray) years. Am I being foolish in thinking that the original Murray may be lurking around this also?
