  1. He wasnt at all terrible today he had one major fuck up for their goal but other than that he looked good. It was definetley bad man management from Gerrard to hook him at half time (unless he had an injury), sure McAuley needed game time but anyone denying that usually sub shy Gerrard hooking him at half time will probably fuck him even more mentally is deluded.
  2. It’s hard to pick up where you left off when all you get is 5 minutes or less at a time to make an impact.
  3. The HTC definetley needs a bit of an upgrade. People call it state of the art, which it was when it was built but that was 17 years ago but now it’s way behind the top clubs in Europe. So it’s good to see money being spent on it. We just need similar upgrades at Ibrox, not extra seats which are a pipe dream for the foreseeable future with our current financial situation.
  4. Dorrans hasn’t been a quality player for years now. Some players come into their prime in their early 30’s but that ain’t Dorrans injuries have finished him. Even when he got himself fit for us he just looked wank (that one bit of play against Villarreal aside) and nowhere near the player of his youth.
  5. It’s a bit of a joke we haven’t been able to buy strips before the season starts we’ve been fucking about with them for years now. Next season the board better sort their shit out and get them out on time.
  6. Prior to his injury Coulibaly was first to every ball and once he was on the ball he actually looked great on it just a big bag of energy Kante style. At the moment he looks sluggish and nervous on the ball without that same drive he had, he wasn’t terrible tonight but if you compare it to the incredibly high standard he set earlier in the season it’s poor.
  7. No chance that was he great tonight he rarely took on his man and his crossing was awful but one thing you can always say about him is that he will always graft and give 100% no matter what, He’s also very good at defensively aswell. He isn’t technically bad either he’s probably just slowing down due to age.
  8. No chance he was outstanding before injury tonight he was the worst Rangers player on the park (still not terrible though)
  9. If you think it’s acceptable your clearly as spasticated as he is. Suprised you know how to use the forum and aren’t out licking windows.
  10. Hopefully the replacement manager has a Kenny McDowell/Ian Durrant effect.
  11. If we are going by names and pedigree then Rangers are easily the biggest club in the group. Pedigre and club size means very little in terms of being the better team these days.
  12. Keeping it simple doesn't win games, attacking midfielders who just keep it simple don't ever make it to a high level in the game. Ejaria is a creative attacking player this involves taking risks in order to gain rewards. To often Scottish coaches (and indeed fans) want our players to play the simple sideways pass but the truth is when a team is full of players taking the easy option the team becomes mediocre, the skill and creativity is being coached out of players.
  13. Hutton in that wonder season was genuinely one of the best fullbacks in Europe, he was doing it both in The Champions League and against top Internationals sides for Scotland. I think I remember Hutton having more assists than anyone else in the Champions League Group stages that season.
  14. As if no cunt has mentioned the great Salim Kerkar yet
  15. Eh? How the fuck do you come to that conclusion he was our best player tonight against a La Liga side despite being on the pitch for only 20 minutes. He is regularly our best player when coming on from the bench, how can you confidently say “he’s not ready”. Forget the fact he’s 18 if he was putting in the same performances from the bench but was 23 would you be saying the same thing? No would you fuck. The fact remains he was far more pace and skill than any of our other wingers (Candeias, Murphy & Kent) and as a result he should be starting, well at least get a few starts to prove himself he’s more than earned that.
  16. Didn’t really do too much for me but he didn’t have any service in the first half but he popped up just at the right time when we needed him so well done Lafferty?
  17. Wylde’s crossing was actually very good just a shame he couldn’t dribble, pass, or shoot and most importantly his potlsitional sense/football brain was as basic as it gets. Middleton looks far superior.
  18. I don’t hate Kenny Miller but the idea that he was some sort of great servant of Rangers is bullshit. He always put himself and money first. Midway through his best season for us and the best in his career he walked out on us at the first opportunity for Bursaspor for a bit of extra cash, not to mention that he played for celtic and “thumped” the badge after scoring against us. In his final spell he was desperate to get back to us so he could get a final payday not because he was desperate to help us. I don’t blame him at all for giving abuse to Murty it was well needed. He has scored some vital goals for us and played key part in some of our title winning teams but let’s not pretend he is some sort of wonderful Rangers man who deserves a great reception because he’s not.
  19. It’s almost as if people on here want him to fail so they can say I told you so. Yet Lafferty the traitor is made out to be some sort of amazing player.
  20. Just think how today’s youngsters (18 and Under) feel having grown up watching the likes of Nicky Clark, Ian Black, Kevin Kyle and friends ?
  21. 3 Goalkeepers— Stefan Klos, Allan McGregor 4 Fullbacks— Alan Hutton, Fernando Ricksen, Arthur Numan, Sasa Papac 4 Centre Backs— David Weir, Carlos Cuellar, Madjid Bougherra, Lorenzo Amorouso 5 Centre Midfielders— Barry Ferguson, Mikel Arteta, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, Steven Davis, Claudio Reyna 4 Attacking Midfielders / Wingers— Ronald De Boer, Neil McCann, Vladimir Weiss, Peter Lovenkrands 4 Strikers— Dado Prso, Michael Mols, Kris Boyd, Nikica Jelavic I can only really remember properly from the 2002/03 season, maybe 2001/02 at a push. Still that squad would be incredible to have these days
  22. Rangers at home vs Stuttgart in the UEFA Cup Final year was incredible. The 2nd Best and by far the best in recent memory was the 3-2 game at Ibrox where we stopped the scum winning the league at Ibrox.
