It was torture even thinking about this and a team selection
    Thoughts
    - Tav/Barisic stay deep - defend first
    - Cantwell in an advanced central position
    - Get our transfer buys into the team (although you could bring Roofe on if Danilo not doing it)
    - Get width from natural wide players

I should say I like Cifuentes, but typical Beale he's asking him to do something that is not his natural game - i.e. cover the fullback

Cifuentes hasn't shown that he has the awareness nor desire to constantly track back to cover the wide area, so that's a bit of a weakness. Think Lammers and Cantwell will get in each other's way and there is no width in the team. Expect us to have 80% possession and 15 shots, 2 on target with 0 goals.

Tbh none of the options of keeping Beale, going for someone other than our top target who will come (just not right now), and bringing in a caretaker are desirable.
But the one that's least acceptable has to be keeping Beale.

See I would be more willing to back Beale if we were seeing signs of progress, but if anything I think we have regressed since he came in.
When you appear to be getting worse under a guy who’s had the best part of a year to implement his ideas to the majority of the squad, and a whole Summer to implement them to the new signings (who were all his choices because there’s no DOF helmed committee right now) then there aren’t really many reasons to be optimistic.
I think a lot of people got on board early on, but are now clearly seeing that we appointed a decent ‘coach’ to a role that he is massively out of his depth for both in terms of the managerial ability and force of personality needed to do the job.

I don’t disagree but that new defender crumbled when Dessers challenged him and who knows how he’d have done later with his new team-mates all yelling at him?
The absolute priority from that game was how rotten we were but yet another dubious refereeing decision shouldn’t be overlooked either.

Beale better be on his way out this week. We're winnning nothing by keeping him but we're losing the fans if we keep him. We have decent players that a good manager could work with. Keep Beale in post and the fans will turn their anger on the players and then we're in a bad place.

So just to let everyone know, Beale is still a charlatan and the Board are wanks for keeping him in place.

I actually don't have a problem with what he says. A lot better than the piss the captain comes out with. It was the 56 on the shorts I didn't like.
    Cantwell is a leader.

I'll vote with my money - I won't be taking any EL tickets so they can ram that up their pipe and smoke it.

Hibs and Villareal have just sacked managers early into the season, it happens. Plus he’s not a new manager the just came in in the summer. He’s been here since November, he’s never won a big game and in the last week he’s seen us getting destroyed off PSV and beaten off a poor scum team at Ibrox without any away fans. You need to look at the bigger picture than just this ‘4 games into a season’ nonsense.

I have nothing personal against Beale and don't support any of the personal abuse he's getting but as far as I'm concerned his time is up. If he isn't removed then we're not winning the league, will not navigate the group stages of EL and will not win the Scottish Cup - the League cup isn't guaranteed.
The Rangers thing will be him winning the league cup and the Board backing him on his 'project' despite losing everything else.

It’s pish patter, tin hat on but so is the “cunt” “moley” abusive shite.
We are all frustrated, upset and some angry but I don’t get the personal abuse, it was the same with GvB.

It's pretty obvious that if you want a successful manager, you hire one who has been successful in a decent league setup. One of the first sorting questions is how many trophies have you won, if its 0, then straight in the bin.

Or what benefits others and doesn't Rangers - if that goal was by the filth yesterday against us, there is no way VAR is overruling that - that is the issue here and the whitewashing by Refs and others to defend it is sickening.

I think it’s debatable. As i said last night not every contact is a foul. You could call it a tangle of legs, a coming together or a collision. It’s open to interpretation by a ref depending on force used in challenge etc. I still don’t think that once a ref has seen it and let it go that it can be classed as an obvious error.
