It's the age old question and the source of all the corruption/ bias arguments - consistency in decision making.

I get why its worded this way and don't know how to word it better, but by fuck it leaves it open to interpretations that can differ hugely.
Cardoso got a broken nose for contact not deemed to endanger him whereas sterling got a red for contacting someone's toes.
The Dundee player midweek got a red cause that really didn't endanger anyone more than loads of unpenalised fouls we see every weekend. Edit

Apathy is what allows them to control things, I don't blame the club as non of our support are really from the 'activist' mentality, you get that from minorities not the silent majority of law abiding citizens.

It's not that I disagree it can be seen as a red, its that Rangers seem to be held to a different standard. We see worse challenges against us that aren't even carded, never mind reds. Or continual fouls that don't get punished until 80mins. Or Cortez getting clattered by Aberdeen 'late' 50/50 header that isn't a penalty. Or 6ft 5 defenders falling over and holding the ball breaking attacks that are given as fouls against us. I don't think it is corruption, but I do think Refs are terrified of the filth press and their rabid hordes on social media and subconsciously go easy on them.

The filth had two penalties tonight to keep them in the title race. Not a word spoken about it by either manager in the BBC comments. Imagine that was us. If you think there isn't something going on you are blind.

At full speed I thought it was a red for a high boot, on replay I thought it was a yellow and no cause for a red. Red cards are for serious foul play or violent conduct
    SERIOUS FOUL PLAY
A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

    VIOLENT CONDUCT
Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made.
In addition, a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible.

It's not Violent Conduct as he was challenging for the ball, so he must have deemed it endangering the safety of the opponent as I don't think it was excessive force or brutality. Personally I don't think it was but the Ref has the right to make the call (although we can argue whether the same offence for other teams would have been given)

Surely with two defenders marking one forward, one gets tight in front of him to stop them running away. If Goldson did what Miovski did (arm across the chest) he wasn't getting to that ball to chip it in.

Get rid of Raskin then as he is hopeless, apart from a stint when he 1st moved here, he has been garbage.

Sterling’s composure is something that’s taken me by surprise. Never seems to panic, a good asset to have

Sterling has been way better than Raskin. Out of position as well. Should keep place.
