  1. Exactly. He could actually ahve changed things in a positive way, given enough time. McCoist has only led to disaster and will continue to do so.
  2. Maybe, but at the moment it's quite possible that the club think that the fans love 'Super' and would lynch anyone who dared to sack him. We can at least fill their inbox with evidence that this isn't true.
  3. I think Smith (I'm not feeling in the mood to be on first name terms this morning) has to be regarded as a guilty party too. What made him think he had the right to nominate a successor? Given how hopeless McCoist has proved, why won't Smith come out and recognise reality instead of still offering excuses for failure?
  4. If their inbox is blocked up with messages all saying they want McCoist out then at least someone at the club will know how feelings are running.
  5. smith should never have been allowed to"recommend" McCoist oe anyone else in the first place. He bears a lot of responsibility for this shit.
  6. Time that his 'Legend' staus was withdrawn.
  7. He won't go because he would never get another job. Even the TV companies wouldn't want him back.
  8. So are David Luiz and Fred for that matter, although we might not want to boast about it. I think there are a lot more protestants in Brazil than germany where I think you'd be hard pressed to find any at all these days.
  9. It was actually Walter Winterbottom, England manager before Alf Ramsey, who said this.
  10. It's a pity it wsan't BBC to wipe the smile off that smug twat Lineker's face. Anyone got a link to the incident by the way? It's not on YouTube yet or the ITV news page.
  11. Or it might be because they are run better than us. It might be because they employe managers who have a bit of a clue. I tell you what, I wish they would head hunt McCoist but I don't see it happening. Do you?
  12. I'd like England to win but if we can't then I'd like one of the African teams to win.
  13. I'd like to see Featherstone in Super League as their form and their stadium deserves it. I'd also like to see a Cumbrian team there.
  14. I'm hoping for either London or Salford to finish bottom. Widnes Viking's first game is against London so I hope we give them a good thrashing. Also hope to see Widnes have a good Challenge Cup run. I was very impressed with Wigan last year. They seem to be doing a lot of things right and great at developing players. I think they will miss Sam Tomkins though.
  15. Hamburg seem to be on a course for relegation. Does anyone know why things are going so wrong there? I don't really follow German football that much but I've always thought of Hamburg as a pretty big club.
  16. Let's hope this has-been isn't there. Good riddance to him and the Ferdinands.
  17. I hope they win it. It will be a victory for football over money and corruption as represented by REal and Barcelona.
  18. Let's just imagine that it was Celtic who had our problems in 2012 and got busted down to D3. Their manager, Lennon, stayed with them. hey got promotion but played clueless and unattractive football and had a wage bill so high that it was playing havoc with the club's finances. The following season they continued in the same vein, having signed more dross and added to the wage bill with players with no resale value at all.Let's say the manager ws shamed into cutting his astronomical salary to a level that was still far too much for the league in which his team were playing How would the Ally supporters react to this? would they say that Lennon was doing a great job and needed to be given as much time as he needs. Or would they be pissing themselves laughing and hoping that Celtic kept hold of him because as long as he was around there would be nothing to fear.
  19. The point is that Ally shouldn't be there. I would hope that next season he is working for one of those teams that are desperately trying to headhunt him. If he's still at Rangers then we don't have much chance of hitting the top flight running.
  20. Juan Mata has just been arrested for performing a u-turn on the M6.
  21. That is a shit philosophy and one that no good team should ever follow. Do you think Bob Paisley, Brian Clough, Pep Guaridola et al ever came out with the "a win is a win" bollocks? It's just embarrassing. If you can entertain then the chances are that you will be successful. We should at least give it a go, but McCoist is not capable of it.
