Can’t stand the sight of that OAP mess either. Standing stretching and doing keepie uppies as the players warmed up on Sunday, dressed like yer Granda walking round the pool in Salou. Here for a pension top up and nothing more.

I dont care what anyone says, gio carries the can for not winning the title, but theres not a manager in the world right now who'd have took that shitebag outfit of players and won the league against a tarrier side that dropped 4pts only after the winter break
When the pressure is on, that gerrard squad shat the bed more times than any other squad in our lifetime
Even under walter wouldn't have kept the lead after the winter break with that squad, he'd have absolutely ripped it up and started again in the summer mind you

Of course he can't control in game a bad touch but they can be taught how to make a simple 10 yard pass, the fact we change system or formation during nearly every game hardly helps the players either, sure the stat before the international break was 9 games played and 9 different starting 11s, if we are all lost trying to find what Beale is doing then I would imagine the players are in the same position.

Thankfully didn’t have to endure it today. I don’t have a ST and buy game by game. The wee man didn’t fancy it today and I’ve never been happier about it.

Pretty sure we played Matondo left wing at home against Ross county last season and he set up 2 goals plus cracked the bar when playing left wing, we then proceeded to fuck him out to the right any time he came on because Kent was there.

I think it's fair to say Matondo should never play on the right like he did under Gio last season, obviously Kent was first choice but there's just so many wingers now that can only play on one wing in the inverted style.
Grealish is a great example. He's deadly cutting in from the left, likewise you'd never see Bernardo or Mahrez playing left wing in seasons past despite being left footed.
How that was never discussed or analysed when scouting/signing Matondo is baffling to say the least mind you. It's obvious he wasn't comfortable at all on the right and is much more effective playing inverted.

On the left or through the middle.
Him and Cantwell would be able to swop positions easily enough between the two positions in theory at least.

Tbf I think he has played the majority of games in his career out on the left wing, everybody outside Matondo seem to be struggling in the wide positions this season.
It will be interesting once Cantwell comes back how he works that one out, wouldn't mind seeing a middle 3 of Raskin, Cantwell & Lawrence but doubt Beale would ever go for it.

Nah cause he'd have two of them at fucking fullback most of the game
With everyone fit we should be playing 4141 or 4132 against shite like st johnstone
Two wide mids and either both cantwell and lawerence or one of them in behind a lone striker or a front pairing
Tougher games like hearts away etc we play 4231 or even 4222 and control a bit more of midfield

The issue people have is he’s a fucking walking contradiction. This starting 11 is all over the place and it has been all season. It’s clear he’s no idea what his best starting 11 is and he’s thrown shit at the wall to see if it sticks. He genuinely said yesterday “tomorrow we’ll see our best 11”. That best 11 consists of a centre back he’s trying sell, a left back he hasn’t included in his European squad and only 3 of his summer signings. Surely you can’t see this is a cluster fuck?

People need to get over Roofe’s goal being disallowed. Shoe on the other foot we wouldn’t be complaining about the decision.
We weren’t cheated. We were shite.

After watching Sunday I would, midweek games I struggle to make at the best of times due to work.
I only go on the CCCS to potentially get a final ticket but if Beale is still in charge they can shove it, sick of paying money for fuck all in return.

Can’t be arsed going to watch that crap when I could do something much better with my time.

With you on that mate, i’m still as angry as i can remember being after an old firm game, and I dont think Roofe was the worst player on the park either, i just think he had to come off. We’ve cotton wooled him since pre season to try and get him back playing, it wouldve been another slight on Beale if he’d kept him on.

Agree with you as well on the Lawrence point, but he still looked one of our best players when he was on, and we need him back in the side asap.

No, but I don't think the majority thought we would be served up yet another piss poor performance especially against that taig side, Roofe wasn't good but to be fair to him there was at least 4 times he pressed there centre back or fullback, would turn around and there is a 50 yard gap between him and the next player.
I moaned when Lawrence came on, boys played about 15 minutes of meaningful football in a year and that shytbag Beale hoped he could pull a rabbit out the hat.
