Hard to fathom when you consider how SG and Gary Mac made their living. You'd have to wonder what they see that we don't in terms of what's lacking in personel and setup. I hoped that they could have schooled our midfield in ways of overcoming whatever deficiencies they may encounter, not every teammate they had was a world beater after all. Certainly our present players aren't facing any world beaters.

Both Kenny and Danny McGrain went to Rangers match's after training, so think this may be why he stays clear of making comment regarding Rangers (the club he supported back then).
He has done so much in the game and been successful as a player and manager; also he's seen so much tragedy in his footballing career IBROX Disaster, Heysel and Hillsborough, this would have taken it's toll on any man. He has come through and done so much in helping to support the family's of The Hillsborough Disaster (no wonder he is a Liverpool icon and loved by all there), well deserved in my opinion.

Good on him. He seems to have far more love and respect with Liverpool than he does with those smelly leaches. Liverpool is his footballing love.

Aye, but seeing him in our jersey you'd never have known. Hoped that his performance for Newcastle was a blip and we were getting someone to set the league alight but he just never seemed bothered. Hence the reason he infuriated me.
