Number5 got a reaction from The No.9 in Fashion Sakala
Technically shite and is worth fuck all in the transfer market. But effective.
Nearly missed that open goal after doing so well......more or less sums him up.
Gods on his side though so thats pretty fucking good.

Number5 got a reaction from GA1972 in Missed opportunity
I 100% think the issue is, unless a youth players come in and performs 8/10 for 2 or 3 games in a row, which is pretty unlikely, our recent management team stick to what they know and play without risk as their jobs depend on it.
There is absolutely no looking to the future in many sides. The pressure on managers to pick up points is so great that it's not worth the risk.

Were fuckimg useless at blooding these young players. Been shite at it for what seems an age. Cup games of old when we're fielding Tav, Goldson etc against mince when theres young lads who should be getting a chance.
I get it though because the pressure on our managers are so great that they shit it and field what they consider to be a safe option to get the 3pts.

Just my opinion but really feel the last few games should have gave us the opportunity to see the likes of Lowry, Rice Devine etc to see if they could step up and become squad players for next season.
Lowry and devine are 20 (in three weeks). When you consider were paying money for players around that age we should be giving youth a chance as part of our model. This time last year Lowry played an end of season dead rubber game away to hearts and was outstanding. Missed opportunity especially today.

Well it's not going to be Helander, Shagger or Scotty.
Can imagine scotty playing a big part in a league 1 team in England or somewhere.
Think Kent could go on to be superb for someone with less pressure and more space to run into. His best games for us were against the fenians and in Europe where he wasnt doubled up on....he could quite as easily be in the English Championship in a Bristol City or whatever though turning in a performance once every 5 games.
Alfie..........anyones guess.

Wright is a likeable guy. He's never spat the dummy and any time he's been asked to do a job he's came on and tried. Think he might do well given space to run. Hope it goes well for him just wasn't good enough imo.

Tav has had a bad season yet is our top assister and top goal scorer from right back. 25 goal involvements from 36 games getting players player of the year is hardly fucking idiotic.

I was happy to hear Butland deal was off the table.
Even if he compromises his wage to fit our structure and it's for 25k+ a week, dont feel it's a wage well spent.
Not a fan of potentially making a Premier league 3rd choice keeper who's played around 10 games in 3 years our new number 1 on a salary that probably sits right at the top of our wage bracket.
Guy peaked about 6 years ago and gone down hill ever since.

Nothing sums up English football more than a 3rd choice EPL goalie, with 10 appearances in 3 years, demanding over 30k a week to join us.
Bonkers.

Hopefully the dissenting voices will pipe down now and allow the guy the time and the patience needed to put this squad back together.

Hes been the one shining light over the last few fuckimg miserable weeks/months.
Seems to get it, all round game is far better than I expected, love the physical side of his game and chipping in with goals.
Could be an massive player for us next season.

Thought he was excellant.
Domt understand why we've waited so long to give the boy his chance, every game he's played he's been every bit as good as our No1.
Made up for him.
