Dykes would be a shite signing, unless it was on a free and as 3rd choice as an alternative option when you want to lump the ball up.
Fuck knows what wage he'll be on and if his stock has risen, but every time I watch him play it makes me think, how the fuck did I not make it as a professional footballer.
 
 

Wright needs more end product but I think he gets too much criticism tbh. He was a free transfer and a squad player and he’s a tidy player who has had some good performances for us. 

He’s not the answer and isn’t a starter but he’s a very inoffensive player to me. Probably on low wages and is Scottish trained, no issues keeping him around. I always think you should have two right wingers and two left wingers and then a 5th winger who can cover both sides as a last resort. I have no problem with Wright being that 5th winger.

Up until about 2 weeks ago we were talking about how decent the partnership of him and Goldson was.
He's had a moment of complete faggotory and is now shite?!
I would like a 6ft4 CB to add height and aggression to our side but unless were getting 2/3m for him and Beale can get a replacement then I'm not overly worried about his position alongside Goldson. It's fine for the SPL. I like the balance he gives and his ability in the ball.
If he stays I'm okay with that as long as we address the GK/MID/×3 ATT.

With the overhaul that's needed, and I'm talking about starters, I very much doubt we are as desperate for a CB as other positions. 
Goldson 100% starter with Davies, Souttar or King. 
That should be plenty for the SPL.

In this window we need to make sure we really do get quality. 
They ( the 4/5) have to be 1st choice players.
I think hes confident at the back just a GK required.
He'll want another in the middle and a whole new front line.

Those are the positions, regardless of what we think, Beale and the board will be looking to address.

You don't just become winners by saying you want to be winners, or talking about history and traditions.
We're rightly 2nd in the league table and 2nd financially compared to them for a reason. Like wss the case with Gerrard, Beale has to find a way to overcome that against the odds. 1 transfer window and 2 players of his own isn't near enough of an opportunity for him or any manager.
You sack Beale and the merry go goes round and round but with poorer quality managers as those with ability won't take a job for 6 months (until they get binned) unless they want a pension tip up. But yeah pay them off too, waste more funds, bring in the next one..

I think if you just allowed him to do what hes good at you'd have a player.
The role he played today, and more often than not this season, offers very little. Control in a game when the opposition has 20% possession. 
Hin and Jack today in that middle were overkill.
 
 

Pretty easy 3pts.
Controlled the game from start to finish.
Not overly keen on Jack and Lundstrum starting together at home. Get Tillman in there with Sakala starting.
Shaggers clean sheet is another positive.
