It was Ahmeds lawyer who mentioned the 2,000 figure not ours.(our lawyer shook his head at this claim) There was also no mention of how many they expected to sell unless someone can provide a link to this.
The importance of season ticket money cannot be emphasized enough, it allows the club to trade whilst no games are taking place plus it enables budgets to be set safe in the knowledge that the monies are guaranteed, The damage certain individuals are doing should neither be forgotten nor forgiven.

Even if the worst case scenario happened ( which is wont) and we go back into admin, this does not mean you lose your ST. We were in admin before for a fair chunk of a season, and everyone that had a season book got what they paid for ( all league home games).
I can not see a scenario where we can not fulfill our fixtures. the whole losing your money thing is a massive peice of scaremongering.

Sorry but thats shite. the fans want security over assets for buying their season tickets. a totally unworkableplan that no boar would agree too.
And they know this fine well, which gives them ammunition against the board, " the big bad board wont accept our totally stupid and unwrkable idea, they must be spivs"
He did not insinuate the fans were not loyal, he reiiterated how important fan loyalty is and to continue to be like that.
And you know what, "fans" that are using their season ticket money to blackmail the board, are not being loyal in the slightest, so what is actually wrong with him saying that?

Why are we expected to side with this mob.........cos their fan base is majority Prod......seriously????
Killie are the ONLY team who didn't bow to the pressure exerted by the bheasts from the east and vote us out the league.
The rest can go die in a corner.
When hertz go we'll just need to find another feeder team!

I expect him to keep his nose out of Rangers business. until a point comes where he has actually invested in us through a share issue.I expect him NOT to try and have season book money ringfenced.
I expect him NOT to do anything that could hurt Rangers
He, until something changes, is just another mouthpiece now IMO.

I refuse to believe that the more informed among us cannot tell the difference between an Irishman like Daly and an Irishman like Stokes.
One has earned our scorn through his dispicable beliefs (political) and the other has done nothing more than carry his countries flag on his shoulders after winning a domestic trophy.
I mean, did big Albertz believe in Nazi socialism just because he was German and proud of it? Of course not.

to those that are saying costs are too high for the 3rd division etc. come on! do you really want us to move out of a 5 star stadium, make all players part-time and bring in a low league manager, reduce facilities and only cater for 2-300 fans every week?
Rangers are not a 3rd division club, we are on the road back with massive rebuilding to be done while maintaining facilities that are the best in the country, it takes money to operate for 40-50,000 fans turning up every other week. Also, on the non-playing staff wages, CG made a very strong point of not sacking anyone last year as in another 2 years time we would need to re-employ people for that job, accepting the increased cost to the company in the mean time.
Sure, the accounts could be better but there was always going to be a period of losses. From June 2013 onwards we will have TV revenue, sponsorship, retail income and more to be added to the revenue. All in all we are not in a bad position.

Is it not obvious why? They have never seen things clearly and have always agendas and arrogance beyond belief
They will put their own spin on things regardless to justify the destruction and brain washing they've been responsible for

I reckon there might be a few "casual fans" going to it that don't really follow the team that closely or know what the situation is. I know it seems like you'd have to be living under a rock to do that, but we have so many fans that it would only take a tiny percentage to get to 400 sold. That's one of my main worries about this idea of picket lines - it could spill over into hurling abuse at families and whoever else who don't really appreciate the depth of feeling about it.
Sometimes I think we forget that just because we talk about something intensely on this forum and wherever else, it doesn't mean everyone out there that has some identification with the club follows this stuff as closely.

while i don't support fans going, i support freedom of choice and you need to realise that while he may be giving dundee utd a portion of money, he is also donating equally to charity via Rangers share, and increasing dundee utds bill for security given heightened tensions and the fact they will have to police that.
In all honesty i think you should STFU and keep your opinions to yourself - your basically attacking someone for supporting Rangers.

    Alexander
    Hegarty Perry Cribari Wallace
    Argyriou Black MacLeod McKay
    Shiels
    McCulloch

Subs: Gallacher, Sandaza, Crawford, Hutton, Stella.

Tuesday was hard but the team need to pick up, I still believe this team can click. The East Stirling and Elgin games showed that, we'll miss Temps and Little a lot but hope to see Stella get some mins, think Argyriou played well against QOTS so would start him at RM.
    Rangers 3-0 Montrose (Shiels(2), McCulloch)
