Saw this on Twitter - I'm not his biggest fan but fair play to him for this letter.
Can't save the images down for those without Twitter but the basic sentiment is GIRFUY.

Genuinely can't tell the difference between Scotland fans and yessers.
They all cut about in the same gear: kilts, Scotland top, tartan hat or army cap they haven't earned on their head, shouting anti English bile and being an embarrassment to the nation.
Can all gtf as far as I'm concerned.

I defo remember" Go home ya H***" belted out by the full Rangers support at the scum streaming out of the ground after we had beaten them, just how that got turned on its head and directed our way is a mystery to me.

Where do these timmigrants come with the term "h*n"? See they're calling Alex McLeish "a h*n".
They attempt to steal everything and believe if they say it often enough, it will become factually correct.
The Liverpool fc anthem - what's all that about - you'll never walk alone, (unless we can join in & steal your song, pish)
Back to the "h*n" - when I was a wee kid, 70's & 80's and since 1914 in fact (WWI) the timmigrants were referred to as the "h*n" every Rangers game against those homesick oirishmen (even tho' they'd never actually been there) - it was belted out, "Go home ya' h*ns, go home ya' h*ns go home" - because the kaffliks fenians supported the German's during 2 World wars.
So there you go any fenian's reading in or any Rangers supporter/Protestant that may not know.
They're the h*ns - We Are The People.

This is indeed, a very sad time, but I'd also like to go on record to thank @gogzy and the admin for letting him back on. It meant more to him than you will know.
Not a bad bone in his body and his eyes full of devilment is the Tam I am sure, those of us who have met him, will recognise.
The only good side, of any of this, is what I have witnessed from other posters who, in real life, have provided the big man with support and entertainment. I know he appreciated it greatly. A few have gone, above and beyond, 'for a bloke from the internet' (they know who they are) and for that alone we can be happy that as a Rangers family we can, and do, care for our own.
    A time for reflection.

Thanks gogzy for you and other admin reinstating ED when I told you how ill he was all those weeks ago. He really appreciated you doing so, it kept him mentally alert by being back here,, he loved every minute of it and his wind-ups.
He bore no malice to anyone and would phone me about his “bites”? must confess I joined in, the bluesome twosome he called us?
Not much more to say at this point other than the toxins are now attacking his brain and he is heavily sedated, Jacquie is with him at his bedside.
Also a mention for Host, who has been helping keep ED’s spirits up through this very sad time, hoping for a miracle...

Thought posters might like to put a face to the name, checked if it was okay to do so, it is.
Something most won’t know about ED is that he was at N’castle after leaving school, he was offered terms but his mother decided he was getting a real job in the bank.
He was a big lump of a lad even then, typical battering ram centre forward of that era and skill to go with it, who knows what could have been, hope you like the fotie from last year, keep rockin’ big chap ?

Equal the previous Scottish club record of 10 games without defeat in European competition set by Walter smiths Rangers
One more game and this team will make a little bit of history. Not bad at all.
Now get that away form.sorted and we might be on to something special

You forgot the feather plucked from some kind of roadkill bird and glued onto a stupid hat with daft badges on it. What makes grown men think this is acceptable atire for going to football will always be lost on me, its absolutely embarrassing to think that people from other countries might think we all go on like those weirdos.

Like most Rangers fans of my vintage I followed Scotland , did the Wembley trips and cared about the National Team as much as I cared about Rangers. However the media driven hate campaign, the rest of Scottish Football so readily embraced, means I fuckin hate the National Team and their Pikies Jacobite cunt fans. Your claim that provincial fans are more likely to support the National Team is a recent thing, right through the 70s and into the 80s Bears made up about 50% of the total Scotland Support. Personally I think any Rangers Fan standing alongside scum who chanted “We hate Rangers more than you” when Scotland played the ROI is pathetic. The National Team is dead to me.

There's no fannying about here. I like the bit at the end "for the avoidance of doubt there is clear, documentary evidence that they intervened"
They obviously have that evidence as you dont report people without having something to back it up.

Club 1872 Reports Glasgow City Councillors to Standards Commissioner
Following the disingenuous and irresponsible behaviour of Glasgow City Councillors, Susan Aitken and David McDonald over the past few days, Club 1872 has been left with no option but to report them, along with Councillor Stephen Dornan, to the Commissioner for Ethical Standards in Public Life in Scotland.
Despite finding the time to construct a letter to Rangers which was littered with inaccuracies, immediately leaking that letter to the press and then posting carefully selected confidential emails including private information on social media, neither Susan Aitken nor David McDonald have managed to respond to simple questions from Rangers, Club 1872, MSPs, fellow councillors, the general public or indeed their own constituents.
Incredibly, despite David McDonald publishing these emails and Susan Aitken confirming in her leaked letter that she had been briefed on the Fanzone proposal, Glasgow City Council has replied to our FOI request claiming they do not hold a single piece of information on this matter. We have immediately asked for a review of this response and if necessary will then refer our request to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
It comes as little surprise to us to see the pair attempt to characterise the wish for transparency and accountability as sectarianism. Playing this card is the go-to move for anyone who is taken to task over their own questionable actions towards our club and supporters. Doing so immediately ahead of an Old Firm game was beneath contempt.
Given the array of political views, religions and football allegiances represented by those who have publicly questioned them, their tactics in this instance can only be categorised as a desperate attempt to deflect from the simple issue here. Why did they intervene, outside of due process, to instruct Glasgow Life to remove their consent to use the Ibrox Complex pitch for a match day Fanzone?
The issue of the objections by Stephen Dornan and the Ibrox and Cessnock Community Council is a complete red herring. The correct forum for these objections to be considered was the licensing hearing. We do not believe that the objections had any merit - and in the case of the community council were lodged due to misinformation provided by Stephen Dornan - but the place to address them was the hearing, where Rangers would have had the opportunity to respond directly to any concerns. This hearing was stopped only because of the intervention of the Council Leader and her deputy.
There is nothing in the emails leaked by David McDonald, which pre-date the incident in question by over 2 weeks, that disproves what we know to have happened. Their tactic of trying to muddy the waters by releasing carefully selected emails, whilst FOI requests are refused, is a clear attempt to mislead the public as to their role in this matter. We will not breach confidentiality by posting emails on the internet but for the avoidance of doubt there is clear, documentary evidence that they intervened.
We look forward to the truth of this matter emerging after a thorough investigation into these councillors and the receipt of FOI material so far denied to us.
