Too many folk focusing on NEH not turning a huge profit, or the fact it’ll take dozens of years to pay for itself.
Sometimes it’s OK just to spend money on something that will give a good experience to supporters. How many of us buy a new telly, knowing we will never be able to recoup our money on it if we ever sell it? But we don’t care because we will enjoy watching it.
I like NEH, I like that I can get a pint before a match and saunter right into the stadium, and then another one afterwards should I choose. I like the fact I can just go for a coffee if I have a free afternoon. I like that we have a venue ready made should we need it for any eventuality.
