Well shit result but it does really bring out those that howl At the moon on here. The lack of realistic expectation about what it takes to build a team, the inability to look at a bigger picture and a lack of patience is evident. 
Most on here at the start of the season only expected second, many were expecting third or fourth and imho a manager should be judged over a period of time and yet we have out rabid who almost joyfully can't wait to put the boot in every time we have a poor result and then call that support.
calling for patience on here is like asking Trump to stop tweeting nonsense - impossible. But once again I believe the corrrect course of action is to get behind the management and continue our magnificent support but I suspect the howling mob don't have that in them. 

With living in Coventry it's hard to get to games but I said I'd make this one and I for cannot wait to go so much so I'm coming to the game myself(bit sad) but I've never been so excited for a game in my life!
Anywhere anyone can recommend for a drink either before or after the game? Cheers.

Look at the reception we got in Bristol, Sheffield and Derby when the travelling bears went down. The atmosphere was immense and we gained a lot of support after these games. That's what going to England is about, increasing our fanbase and gaining as much exposure as possible. We should have at LEAST 1 away trip in England every pre-season. I hope this year is a blip and not going to happen every year.

My 11 year old sons head nearly exploded when I texted him to tell him about this as we're Rangers/Burnley fans.
Midweek will probably restrict the numbers travelling up. Those that come will be mostly pro Rangers/Unionist as the town hates ceptic since they rioted @ Turf Moor in a 1978 Anglo-Scottish Cup match.
Shame it isn't @ Turf Moor as the welcome would be massive and despite what people think of Burnley it's a football mad town and would open its arms to Rangers fans. Burnley FC have strong links with Ulster as Burnley found many players from over there. Friendly folk who like a pint or two and I used to sell numerous Burnley/Rangers scarves/badges on the stall I used to have down there.
We'll be coming up and it'll be weird sitting in the away end but it'll great to see the Clarets @ Ibrox. Can't wait!

Away trips down south is something the fans crave at pre season, it's always been a highlight of a new season.

If you were unlucky and didn't manage to get an Old Firm ticket, then why not spend that money on 2 tickets for this game?
Also, could Admin perhaps pin this to gain more interest?

I can confirm that the RM Funds have today purchased 62 tickets at a cost of £726
25 - Hollybush House, Combat Stress
24 - Quarriers Stopover
13 - Erskine Care Homes

The RM Teddy Bears' Fund has purchased 24 tickets.

The tickets have been donated to the Quarriers Stopover Supported Accomodation Service (Pollokshaws Road) so that all 14 residents can attend (along with some staff, and the youngsters in their two outreach programmes, who also wanted to go. They're over the moon.

I'll be there on Saturday. I was brought up on loyalty and I'm loyal to Rangers, regardless of my views of the board or McCoist.
