Much better today and we could easily have scored a lot more goals today.  Hopefully Gio is able to keep as much of this team together for the next few games.  We looked much better with two holding midfielders despite what some fans have been demanding.  Also with Sakala there we had some genuine pace in attack.  We need to keep playing this type of attacking football at least domestically and forget all that protect the zero nonsense that had made us defensive and slow.

Why are we having to ask the same questions that we've been told year after year are a priority?

They haven't backed the guy when it mattered. Gio has shown a lack of imagination but who the fuck qualifies for the CL and doesn't use at least some of the money to strengthen their squad? Sbsolute disgrace! 
We are a team in transition but the board only see pound signs. They are happy to see us fans spend a fortune to watch a squad that is underfunded.
