I moved to London for work when I was 20 (1984), was in a pub with a London born and bred mate and he was cheering on Man U, surprised I asked if his family were from Manchester, he replied “no my family are all Chelsea fans, but they are crap” I was very naive in those days and had just met my first glory hunter. Still don’t get them.
I love Rangers I was brought up Rangers, my family love Rangers, they did us proud when my father passed - a phone call from mum was all it took, when Rangers were at the time on it’s knees and the cowards that settled for second best voted us out - we as a family were walked out of the players tunnel with our father/grandfathers ashes and walked around the pitch.
My mum pointed to the stands halfway behind the Rangers goal and said “When we were winching that’s where George and I stood.
When we got to the void on the Centre line where the ashes are laid Mum said “When we wed we stood there” pointing halfway up the stadia “As a family”
We are and always will be Rangers.
Forgot to say that my first Rangers Santa was John Greig at the East Kilbride Rangers Club.

It wasn't just one remark.
What do you want?
I’m only aware of what Needham said regarding the fans on the bridge. Not at all surprised that there are more conduct unbecoming from him.
Funnily enough I’m still not defending him.

Some of the things said to Asian cricketers were sheer deplorable rascism. Some of them were a while ago but even then they were intented to degrade.
Totally different cases but both with the intent to dehuminise people. What kind of man normalises such things?
Are they fit to chair any club?
Think not.
Not defending him, just pointing out that in professional sport there is no such thing as banter that breaches race, sexuality etc.
His arrogant remark regarding us was in very poor taste and would never have been out of the press had anyone working for Rangers posted it. The press were slow to report on it as they all have the same mind think around Rangers and its fan base.
Hope this helps.

Just banter is a thing of the past now, look what’s happening in cricket, that’s coming to the beautiful game soon, will haunt all clubs but maybe one more than most.

They had their opportunity when we were not there, but literally settled for second best every season and a pat on the head from Lawwell.

I often (no I don’t actually) think do they walk about in odd numbers especially three, to avoid being connected to a song that until last week I never knew had any connotations to it other than a love for Rangers, I love to be enlightened and educated, also I love my right to call bullshit and challenge any “absolute fact”.
That above if true is beyond believing the earth is flat.

If the guy apologies, fair enough. I very much doubt he actually wished death on anyone. He wouldn’t be the first person to be a dick on social media.
However, if he was associated with St Mirren in an official capacity, at the time of the tweets, then there should be an SFA investigation and disciplinary process implemented. If not, then the SFA need to look at why their ‘fit and proper person’ test missed this, and revisit it for him.
Too busy wasting time and money taking on Douglas Park.

I’d love to know what Rangers and the fans do that does not offend these sad wretches - and as an aside imagine spending your life looking to be offended, I’m sure this Stewart fella (whomsoever he is) beats his dick like it owes him money, when he finds something that offends, which means he is basically a flat out non stop onanist.

I said while watching in the first half that he would be sent off.
Almost like a banner a few seasons back - Know your place…- they are corrupt as fuck, if only the FBI could have a go at them like they did FIFA.

Watching the game last night on CBS they banged on about it being a game behind closed doors due racist chanting against a Monaco player, but relented and allowed 10,000 kids in to show racism has no place in sport. The commentator at one point said something like “Kamara getting booed whenever on the ball” and saying it like he deserved it. On another note it was nailed on that Kamara was going to be sent off that’s UEFA all over, punish the complainers.

They will need tarrier barriers not disco lights should Raith pull of a win akin to '94.
Going by the quote then, the lights will be essential.

Mate that is a good defence at court -didn’t want to use my hands so repeatedly used my fists, COVID and all that - good shout. Oh wait he’s not one of them..
I should also say the sad little hater in the car should be arrested for incitement, but no chance I will hold my breath on that.

Should have ignored that, guys a twat, but in a democracy he has aright of reply. The marcher will get arrested and the headlines will be something used by a govt to make changes.

This is not going to end well for him.

He’s not wrong. However this season this team is not clicking - i go with the last dance mentality - some have now got the attitude of been there done that, and don’t have the spirit for another push.
