That game will go down in our History as one of the all time shows of resistance. Brilliant

onefootwillie got a reaction from Malvern in Manager Reaction
Quite right. It's been a way better start than most people would have thought possible. There will be bumps ,that always happens. The first goal we were unlucky with a couple of slips. What is needed to be done is practice on defending set pieces. Unlike the previous management teams I feel he will sort that.

onefootwillie got a reaction from Bears r us in Make no mistake
The problem will be for us now,the refereeing will start to get even worse, just wait and see. I wonder how many points we will lose and others will gain due honest mistakes

You are perfectly correct ,he predicted big problems on the way the club was run by SDM and he was correct. He was pretty much stitched up by the club. SDM did not like criticism.

If we get through the next round we will have done well. After that it depends on the draw, there are some serious teams in there

onefootwillie got a reaction from WilliamMunny in Bolstered at the Back, Still lacking up Top
That's a fair comment and we still have a fair bit to go in the transfer window. There's a long way to go ,fitness is still to reach its peak and players have to get to know each other. Regarding Artfield he seemed to get a couple of knocks which effected his performance. I think he will be a good signing.

First game in 1961 and hooked from there on

onefootwillie got a reaction from eejay the dj in Gerrard to meet (involve) Walter
Sensible move ,but I am sure he will do what he thinks is right .If it helps him eliminate a few mistakes then fine .

He’s still recovering from injury. They probably decided it was better for him to stay behind and do physio work.

Windass is a fanny it’s about a 2.45 hour flight you use them on long hauls to help you sleep let alone have it on going into airport - fud of a boy at times

onefootwillie got a reaction from Garnock Blue in Gerrard keeping Wallace
Firstly Wallace has to drop his appeal. If he does I think he will be used as cover for John for the season. We will have a lot more coming and going and I think there are other areas requiring more urgent attention. It might allow more resources to be used in those areas. I would then expect him to be replaced at the end of his contract.

onefootwillie got a reaction from markem in Hardie signs new contract
I think it might just be the manager wanting to see how he could do as I doubt he would have seen much of him. I would expect he will get loaned out. I am sure I read the Dundee were interested in him. If he performs there then we sign a new contract with him if not he can go. I would expect the likes of Dundee would be able to pay a large portion of his salary. So relatively low risk.

Take the fixtures as they fall. If we are good enough it won't make a difference

onefootwillie got a reaction from Blueofblood in Tony McGlennan resigns from SFA post
Well let's hope we keep the pressure up . I am concerned he will be involved in the recruitment of his successor. We should still push to see his role in bringing charges against us.

onefootwillie reacted to CoopsLaud in To the SLO or the ITK - Safe-Standing - any updates?
I think for the best impact noise wise and for tv the copland front is by far the safest and best choice. Think the corners may be a bit cramped for the possible amount of interest, and the broomloan is the traditional away section for possible large numbers especially thinking into the future and good runs in europe. If you could fit 5-8 thousand safely standing in cf then cf seats that will be permanently moved having first refusal on safe standing thats the winner. No brainer imo.

onefootwillie reacted to K.A.I in Welcome to Rangers Ovie Ejaria
In fairness I think he becomes a good addition in amongst a flurry of top signings as/when/if they happen
You become more accepting of a player like that in amongst a glut of better signings as the overall picture looks ok ... like when we signed Boli, Laudrup and Alan McLaren who I rated then I think there was Bollan and Cleland who signed too who I wasn’t fussed on (although Cleland went on to do well) overall you take a step back and look at it on paper on and go Laudrup, Boli, McLaren, Cleland and Bollan and you become more accepting of the 2 you didn’t want to sign as it’s part of a bigger picture
if that makes sense - it’s difficult to explain
I’m hoping that’s what happens and he’s a low risk loan signing in amongst a flurry of top additions
