I get that these things frustrate folk but this is just the way of the football world these days, they're paid a fortune and they want to look good all the time, just need to look at players every single game, they've got a fresh cut every single week, I'm not sure if it points to their priorities being in the wrong place or just the way young guys have evolved in the last 10-15 year.

The thing is with Lundstrum he painted himself to the fans as the type of player who'd pin boys against the wall, he wanted to be seen as that hardman you could rely on to pull you through tough games or just tough situations during games but what you meant to do when he's the one selling the jersey's and giving it up like that?

Fancy us strongly on Sunday, we've won 9 of our 12 league matches so far this season (should've been 10) and despite the lull in our domestic performances I expect we'll still have too much for St Johnstone on Sunday, it's a ground that's often difficult for us but we more often than not come away with the 3 points.

You're right in the sense that the Board do probably feel they've met all their targets business and playing wise and probably overreached in some aspects.
 
Going back to the end of 2017-18 when Gerrard was announced, we'd just been scudded 4 and 5 off them and looked light years behind them, If you told us back then that in four years time we'd stop their 10 and get to a European final within four years I doubt the staunchest of staunch would've believed you, so in that sense the Board can feel satisfied.
 
For me though Rangers is a never ending story, when your targets are reached you automatically focus on new ones, if you're not moving forward you'll be left behind pretty quickly.

McCoist didn't miss him tonight after the game, continued to emphasise the point he was at fault for the goals, he was but he wasn't the only one and while criticism is part and parcel of the game, I think when you're talking about a highly rated kid, one who is only in the team because of extreme injury circumstances then you should taper it a wee bit, he's not like a crown jewel manager project keeping better, more experienced players out, I think we can be constructively told where he's went wrong in a much less aggressive way.

What you'll get from Sakala is an honest shift, he'll work and run all day, you'll sometimes get an end product but more often won't but he'll never hide, it's not ideal but at the moment I'd rather fill the team with as much enthusiasm as possible until we start getting players back.
