Popular Post mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
Recent looking back to the Advocaat time has seen loads of discussions about various strikers and how good they were for us. Mols, Flo even Amato got big shout outs. Rod Wallace always seems to fly a little bit under the radar, but could probably put in a claim to have been one of our most successful strikers in modern times. Does anyone else feel he is somewhat undervalued? BlueKnight87, Laudrup1984, North Antrim Loyal and 20 others
Popular Post graeme_4 34,537
Great wee player. Because he was on a free at the time I think he wasn’t thought of as a superstar, but brilliant goalscorer and good link up play too. One of these guys that came and went, and never heard much since. Bristoe1872 2,551
Im probably wrong but did he play against us for Leeds in the battle of Britain tie? Great wee player btw,his scoring record was phenomenal. WWTC
JackAlex93 11,281
A player of his quality on a free transfer was a steal. He had a really good goal scoring record for us. Probably went under the radar a bit at the time due to us having some big names at the club.
Negri's lovechild 14,067
Great player, not just a goalscorer either, worked his socks off for the team and scored big goals in big games for us. MillwallLoyal

Unionblue 3,575
scored the winner at the east end dump one night too, in a 1-0 win for us after a long time not winning there, if my memory is correct. 32Blue and barrymorrison1

Edit: It was the game at the piggery we got battered, got them mixed up coz it was pretty much a title decider, but he scored the winner in both. I’ve always thought he scuffed that shot in that game! Who cares I suppose, was a great result! 😁

Malkytfp1 18,595
Cracking wee striker. Scored one of our best ever European goals against Dortmund. Mental to think he was on the bench for Leeds against us in 92. Kaydubya11

Does anyone else feel he is somewhat undervalued? Watching that I'm reminded both of how valuable a player Rod was, and how good a player Gio was. Gio, shite a manager as he seems to be turning out, is probably the best around midfielder I've seen at Ibrox. Just brilliant.

LegendofCoop 17,313
Tremendous player for us. You're right though...not talked of that much in threads, but think that's because we had so many big name signings at the time. Rod really was an important player for us!
