Tbh, I haven’t been to a Scotland game for a couple of years, but at no point, at any Scotland game, has anyone asked me what team I supported. If they had, I’d have told them.
Your’s is just a really bizarre take on it - just like those who go on about nationalists not telling everyone what their politics are at a Rangers’ game.
At a Rangers game I’m only interested in Rangers, at a Scotland game I’m only interested in Scotland, with a bit more enthusiasm if one of our players is playing.

People literally can't afford to heat their homes in this country but let's lick the boots of someone who has a separate Range Rover to drive their crown to Parliament and who lives a life of luxury by virtue of the family she was born into.
