Dessers has got into great goal scoring positions against all levels of opposition.
Playing number 9 he’s the main man the defenders are tasked with preventing from receiving the ball in those positions. It’s not the case of all he has to do is hang about the penalty box to be gifted chances. 
I’ve mentioned this before but think it’s worth repeating, his conversion rate has been pretty shite but his movement, work rate and mental strength should also be acknowledged. 
In his first season or two at Ibrox super Ally displayed the same traits hence the reason parts of the stadium were known to chant Ally Ally get tae fuck from time to time.
Ps he’s frustrated the life out of me too but even with the likes of yesterday I thought there were positive aspects to his overall display that seems to go unnoticed or not appreciated.


 
 

Probably controversial, but I'll add that he's now better and offering more than Morelos was in his later days.

He created several chances for himself yesterday alone.
See, this is what I'm talking about. This is just, either intentionally or through some sort of unconscious selective forgetfulness, wrong. He's created numerous chances for himself and others this season. That's not his issue.

It's also sometimes people that don't really understand what they're looking at. Yes Dessers misses a lot, yes he's not a good enough first pick, yes he's a messy player, yes he's frustrating, but some of the goals he's scored (and chances he's fucked up) display the good movement of a striker with a wee bit of know-how that your average youth wouldn't show. Because of that your average youth (as well as numerous older strikers we've had over the years) wouldn't have his numbers, which are pretty decent. That goes for some really good assists too. And despite all of his shortcomings, sometimes quantity has a quality all of its own.
He's definitely limited, but simple 'he's shite' or has nothing positive going for him is just lazy stuff by people being melodramatic because they've decided they hate him. His movement is good, his application is good since he became match fit, he's clearly likeable, he gets numbers. He's not first choice material, but he's not the horror-show many make out either.

The Rangers supporters who attend the home games shouldn’t miss out to accommodate them.
Also, they got a bigger percentage of Ibrox than we did at their ground so fuck them.

I started attending away games regularly in the mid 80’s and at the time their ground was one of the easiest for me to get tickets too, I remember them getting the Broomloan, west enclosure and part of the main stand and us getting behind their goal and part of their main stand. Behind our goal only held about 7500 while behind their goal was about 18 thousand, think we had about 2k in their main stand I’m not sure what the west enclosure held at the time and the bit of main stand above it that they got held but pretty sure that wouldn’t have been 12 thousand to make the numbers even. Obviously that’s my personal experience and if it ever was 50/50 split was way before my time lol 
some cunts in here would cower like scared little puppies at some of the shit that went on back in the day 🤣

Me personally woulda sent the bastards a message that because they refused us tickets at the piggery,that it was all over for them at Ibrox unless they apologised on bended knees.

He gave a goal kick before VAR got involved. He couldn’t then change his decision from GK to a corner based on VAR.

Much more intimidating / supportive for the players, than having everyone in a corner.
And even on TV, we’re barely shown while the cameras can’t help but see them with a full stand.
Everything is fine margins, but the old way was undoubtably better for them than us. 

Id rather keep it with 800 or at most euro allocations. 
 
they deny the fucking thing exists so why would we give them 8k seats? It’s one club who want that, there are 7k or so season ticket holders in Broomy now so they can get the euro allocation 800 or fuck all.
 

I agree with that bit, actually. We need to be smarter. Sima should have been shouting it from the rooftops, whereas he was a bit subdued.

Like a breath of fresh air watching a full back take on and beat his man, spent most of the game on the front foot, excellent today and well deserved MOTM.

Had we a decent finisher, we'd have won yesterday.

I don’t think yesterday’s defeat came down to them having a stronger mentality. They took one more opportunity than we did, that was the difference. 
They had home advantage with the full stadium backing them, at one point 2 nil up against 10 men yet they still came close to blowing it, hanging on until the final whistle.
Considering how things had been going under Beale the league should have been all but over but here we are still very much in contention, we’ve won silverware and have reached the last 16 of Europe. Clement has installed the right mentality now all that’s needed is some quality to go along with it.
 

When you look at his stats there’s nothing to suggest he’s “What a fucking signing” but let’s hope he turns out to be one anyway.

What? Every time he puts on that Rangers shirt our sole job as fans is to support him. It’s nothing like respect at all. You don’t have to like him and no one expects you to lie to yourself… but when he’s out on the pitch he’s a Rangers player just like anyone else and therein should get the same level of support. He, like Dessers arguably needs it more than those who are playing well…
Trying to justify booing and shouting abuse at him with nonsense like “how else will it change” is wild. Clement has forgotten more than 99.9% of the Ibrox support will ever know about a football. The day a manger starts pandering to the boo-boys is the day he should give up managing. As far as team selection goes; he calls the shots, not the fans. We can all have opinions… we are entitled to them but in reality none of them actually mean anything. 
For what it’s worth I still found that little upset kid with the Lammers jersey funny as fuck.
