  1. This I think ends the argument, just thinking of Edu's goal with the chaos in the box and the look on the mhanks faces still brings a big smile to my coupon. http://youtu.be/bX43WLQE00U
  2. Everyone is just missing the excitement of a substitution such as Daly for Boyd so we could play the same crap high ball to a different player. Ah the memories.
  3. Gray wont be a loss as he always gets chopped down by the first tackle, even if its the opposition scrum half. Gray must weigh about 19 stone but rarely gets over the gain line as opposed to his brother. We'll miss Ford though, for his work round the park as well as his throw in. Can these players be replaced as they now cannot play again in the World Cup. Seriously short of second rows.
  4. Astros fan here. Finally we've had a good season for a change. Shame it had to end against the Royals. Still could be a good season next year again as a good core to the team now.
  5. ^^^ This, says it in a nutshell. Just on another note I didn't realise how dumb and twisted some folk can be until I read a couple of the posters on this thread.
  6. Noticeable how much quieter its been up here since that nasty piece of shit left. But he wis pyoor deid picked on by everyone from fans to the mhedia. With the position Bolton are in it won't be long before Ally has his golf partner back full time.
  7. Could only manage to watch a minute of that interview. He was like one of these wee yappy dugs (shitzu? ) that just goes on and on. What a pathetic, whining, moaning, petty, twisted, biased little twat of a man he is.
  8. You are Smith and I claim my £5.
  9. Can't really see where I said any team would win the World Series using that system. It is based more on getting more results for less money as with the A's over a season. Once you reach the playoffs it doesn't apply as much. Very good balanced article showing both sides of the theory here.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/116510-moneyball-review-does-it-work
  10. If it was the "Moneyball" system used in baseball then it was shown to work - for Baseball!! The make up of players skills worked out on a numbers basis looked pretty sound as it was for individuals with areas that could be quantified. Football has too many variables plus the team being the main issue as how they worked together couldn't be measured. Personally I'm really glad the Brentford chairman went down this route as it brought someone to the club who, going by his start and methods, could be one of the great managers in not just Scottish, but UK football. If he gets the time and the backing from the board in cash terms, I can only see great things for our club both this season and in the future. Must admit I have not felt so positive and hopeful for a good few years. Been watching the club for over 50 years and the only manager that got my hopes and excitement up like this so early into his career was Souness. We are on the way back without a doubt and all the rest know and fear it.
  11. Japan were absolutely amazing. Every time SA scored they just roared straight back at them. At the end to go for the win rather than settle for the draw was sooooo good. I was shouting at the telly for them to score so much the wife even watched the end. Next up for them is Scotland so hopefully another cracker.
  12. Unusual for him as although he never does more than 3 seasons at a club, he does like to go out on a high. Everything nearly the same as last season except for the results. Midfield looks disjointed, teams seem to have worked out Diego Costa and JT maybe one season too far. With City flying he'll need to sort it pretty quickly. Wonder where next year. PSG??
  13. This is where we need to take a leaf out of that git Alex Fergusons methods, use the media to highlight protection required for players. No need to mention refs, just that flair players are not being allowed to play, ruining the game up here etc etc. The scum use it when it suits them and Neilson is trying but went too far. Sod the dignified silence.
  14. What also will count against him is the level of wage he will be on. Because of when he was signed I would assume he will be one of the top earners so MW would expect that level of return from the player. When you think he is probably paid more than Tav or Waghorn then I suspect he will be moved on as MW will not accept wasting that amount of salary going by the way he is building the squad. Shame really as he was a throwback to the old style of winger who could beat a man and put in good crosses before he came to us.
  15. Whats the odds, if DU were in a position to get relegated the rules would mysteriously change again. Just like happened with the Sheep.
  16. Not necessarily. He could be told he wouldn't play if he didn't sign or even offered a sweetener regarding a cut in the transfer fee. That way both him and the club win. He'll be off at the end of the season.
  17. That collection of articles should be highlighted every chance we get. What an utter disgrace of a football club. The fact that the people who covered it up got away scot free is an utter travesty.
  18. Agree with that and Real will have to dig deep next season for him. They must be spending a lot as lets be honest the Allan cash doesn't cover a lot. Hopefully they are getting themselves into deep financial shit so when they don't go up, they go bust. Junkie, scummy twats.
  19. Never a truer word. As others have said welcome and enjoy watching the Gers.
  20. Getting upset?? Read your post again it's comedy gold and insults don't bother me. Just a tip though, DK as good wanking material does not do it for me. However if thats what floats your boat, go for it
  21. The people we need nailed down on contracts are MW and DW. The style and quality of the football we are playing has already been noticed and would not be surprised if even EPL clubs are sniffing round at the end of the season. Nothing I want more than the management team to stay for their full 3 years (if not more) but the board might have to fight to keep them. The way things are going it seems like a total revolution regarding the way we play, the scouting, backroom procedures and training so we need and hope MW will see it through to the logical conclusion - us back to where we belong as SPL champions and advancing in Europe.
  22. Nope just admit you made a fool of yourself and in future stick to starting more ' Long Live the King' threads. How did that one work out?
  23. Agree 100% but you can be sure in Scotland at least Liewell, petrie and all the other scumbags will be making it as difficult as they can. If one of our own got in, they might find out all the lies and corruption these sleekit shits have been up to the last few years.
  24. Ooooh getting all tough. Still not got over the WGF thread then.
