  1. Timing of your comment is unfortunate. If Oduwa is just ok hopefully The manager can sign a few more just "ok" players.
  2. BBC radio Scotland pricks, we're cheats blah, blah, blah. Referee poor but we conned him, need to be shamed by the pundits etc etc. What a bunch of soor faced dicks that just can't stand to see us doing well.
  3. As I said he was ruined by Don King and agree that Whittaker easily won that fight. But Whittaker also avoided Chavez in his career until he felt he had a better chance by waiting so Chavez had had too many fights and was getting tired and punched out. As regards his 12 th fight, I never saw it but story is he knocked the guy out as the bell went. Ref disqualified him and his manager got the decision overturned the next day. Shady - probably but it was only his 12th pro fight so don't see him having that much fame at that point to put pressure on the judges/commission. A couple of facts about him below. He holds records for most successful consecutive defenses of world titles (27), most title fights (37), most title-fight victories (31) and he is after Joe Louis (with 23) for most title defenses won by knockout (21). Chávez also has the longest undefeated streak in boxing history, 13 years. His record was 89-0-1 going into his first loss to Frankie Randall and had an 87 fight win streak until his draw with Whitaker.
  4. Wonder if someone was playing games. If he doesn't go Utd have lost a fortune and will have a very unhappy keeper.
  5. Probably Ed Moses the greatest athlete of all time with that unbeaten record. Michael Johnson close though. Boxer Julio Cesar Chavez was unbeaten with ease up to 100 fights before Don King got involved and ruined him. Six time world champion at three different weights. Class. My greatest would be Steve Redgrave. One of the toughest sports but 7 Olympic Golds wow.
  6. What a disgrace his comments were. Cowardly, self serving and only worried about himself. Cannot see how he tried to advance his young players to the manager in any way which surely was his job. I get the impression he was too worried if he recommended them and it didn't work out, he would be blamed. People of that type should never be welcome in our club again.
  7. QOS too physical now they are getting embarrassed. Ref should have sent another one off. Clinical play by Rangers second half.
  8. Yep think that too although didn't realise QOS had made so many changes. Need to start strong and not give them any confidence.Watching it on BT and it gave me the horrors when they were showing the losses last season and seeing Ally standing there, arms folded doing f.all.
  9. Watch them stick the boot in first chance they get. These bastards are a law unto themselves and take no notice of BBC in London. We should have stood firm as they were not banned, just that little shit, and they could have sent anyone else on their staff. Yes we can ban him or them again but this has shown weakness.
  10. What was his honest opinion on AM as a manager after he saw the state of the shitstorm when he took over.
  11. Just glad that the management team at the club show such professionalism as I think we can all get a bit carried away on the back of a few results. We are looking so much better than last season but we are not there yet and the squad needs more time to bed in fully. The last game against Hibs was close but must admit to having 100% confidence in the manager to ensure the correct work and attitude are now in place at the club. Hearing MW in his interviews is a revelation after the last few years and given time and patience by the fans and the board he will take us all the way back to the top - where we belong.
  12. My big worry of it all is that they have been stockpiling cash waiting for us to come back to our rightful place. Then Delia will be out the door and they'll be looking to bring in the equivalent of MW and give him the cash. I think Delia only got the job as he would be cheap and under the thumb. Never forget these scummy gits are devious, underhanded, corrupt and liars. Key to this apart from MW is we have to give him funds to compete. Over to you DK.
  13. Its the 3rd showing. http://www.thickaccent.com/2015/08/17/tottenham-loanee-nathan-oduwa-pulled-off-a-rainbow-flick-during-rangers-win-v-alloa/
  14. I watched the game on BT sport and from the angle behind him looking at the Bears end just check out the look on the Bears faces when Oduwa did that - every one of them had the widest grin on their faces..... Fantastic.
  15. His first match, he comes on as a sub, glides past players, sets up a goal, unlucky not to set up two more. We were 4-1 up so he had the cheek to try and entertain fans with that fantastic flick. Ffs it was brilliant for him to try it at that point of the game and that scoreline. Cannot believe people not happy about it. Maybe we could bring Ally back and we could see how the boy is at bringing down large punts from defense.
  16. Same here but even after one of their usual hilarious Euro exits guess what they talk about? You guessed it - US!!!!
  17. Sorry BP but that is worthy of an Ally excuse. The cash, facilities and players he had in the 3rd and 2nd division were superb compared to all the other teams in these leagues. Quite how the Board at that time would affect the team I don't really see. Somehow as long as MW gets the players he wants I somehow do not see the actions of the Board being an issue with him, or excuse. I get the feeling his players will be told to concentrate on their training, fitness and tactics to the exclusion of other factors.
  18. Boyd could put the ball in the net............ if he was supplied as he did not work or create. With the way we are set up now he would not get a game as he did not work enough. If you asked most bears if they wanted Boyd back I don't think many would.
  19. Our 9IAR teams were the proof of this. The scum would have most of the possession a lot of the times but we usually beat them. Can still hear them greeting about it now.
  20. The guy really divides opinion and it's easy to see why. Start of the game last night his first couple of touches he royally f***'s up when chance of a goal was there. Then next touch he plays an exquisite dinked ball over the top to Tav or Walsh coming in to the box on the right. End of the day if MW thinks he is the correct pick then I'm not going to argue.
  21. As said great coming for cross balls/corners, reads the game coming towards him well and seems to give the back four confidence. Not just his fault with the passing out of defence as sometimes the defence doesn't show for him. Very noticeable Tav and Kiernan looking to be available but Wallace not so much so most of his options were to the right. Think St Midden picked up on this and then pressured that side. From corners the midfield, especially Law, seemed alert to the fast throw out. Think he'll be a great signing and Bell will struggle to get back in the team.
  22. I can just hear what is said to the delegate. " for f****s sake, when you hand over the report about Rangers to the BBC next time, make sure they keep their mouth shut about the source."
  23. So in the thread so far. It's legal. It's not legal. You can. You can't. Buy it. Don't buy it. Etc etc. A definite answer from RM again.
  24. Actually believe the guys professional standards are there for all to see and would have been the same at any club. However.......... Once he realises how much he is appreciated, how big the club is and the success we are used to, we can only hope he stays for a long time and is not poached by one of the EPL clubs.
  25. These aren't real balls. The old leather tubes were the things, once they got wet if you mistimed a header and it hit you in the face it would pop all your blackheads, not that I had any of course. Probably because I mistimed a lot of headers.
