See Docherty mentioning the players were tired last season after only a ten day break. Strikes me as the wrong tone to be taking from one so new in his Rangers career. What’s he looking for ? the fans to reflect & say oh yeah we should’ve cut you some slack & that actually justifies the woeful performances. Wee insight into the teams mindset there. Worryingly our of touch. Oops should’ve been posted in fitness thread ?

Just rarely acted like I’d like a Rangers captain should on the park for me. Hopefully moves on sooner rather than later.

I remember Warburton saying in an interview that there won’t be a fitter team in the league than Rangers. Sure it was while they were pre season training in America. Thought at the time it was a stupid thing to say, in fact ironically it was completely disrespectful of him. I’d rather SG said less on matters like fitness & cliques tbh.

SG said what he had to say re Wallace. I doubt very much that’s what he thinks or what the clubs stance is. He’s mentioned togetherness, harmony, same hym sheet etc etc which directly contradicts what Wallace is doing re his appeal & conduct beforehand. Can’t see him playing for us again & the fact that he’s still not fit says a lot. Probably sit tight for his last year of big wages getting treatment then another injury & so on. He won’t be missed imo.

Enjoyed that, pitch looking good, hope that's still the case through the winter months. Think taking the nets off the goals to paint the goals would've been a better idea.

In short I'd guess they've both been fined in region of 20k, it's a fair hit in even a pro footballers wage imo. Must be a big difference of opinion between the club & the players as I'm sure informal attempts would have been made between all parties to resolve this prior to appeals, PFA etc Poor that all involved who are meant to be acting in the clubs best interests have let it come to this.

I like how Mulholland keeps his counsel & refrains from silly soundbites & big predictions for young players. Seems to be doing a right good job with our youths. Well done & keep improving please.

Not particularly impressed by this but I think if I was in his shoes & had a well paid number like he has, I’d stick it out too.

Just a tad I’d say. More concerned what the players are up to this morning. Some will be tuned in & following a strict professional routine to maximise their chances & performances for the season ahead, yet some I’m in no doubt will be giving it their standard half arsed version. Hopefully they’ll be identified & dealt with accordingly on the 15th.

Pretty much everything that could go wrong with a signing has went wrong with this one. Hope the board members who sanctioned his signing are feeling the pressure & there's processes in place to avoid anything remotely similar. Shambolic shabolism yet again.

Hope he improves. Never set the heather on fire with us but was always committed & honest. Word was he was funny as fek with the wind ups & patter etc

Sadly, the ‘what can I do for Rangers ? rather than ‘what can Rangers do for me ? ‘ philosophy is unfortunately a thing of the past in the vast majority of cases.

Like most I’m hoping for miracles but not expecting them. Hopefully we can just go out & do as well as we possibly can in every game, with a better standard of player, sensible formation & above all a stronger more focussed mindset akin to a professional football team then I for one will be happy. Additionally, re this use of this ‘finish/aim for 2nd’ phrase, to me it’s became so commonly used by the club it’s became almost rhetoric. How about just saying we hope to finish as high as we possibly can ?

These proposals will affect every fan either directly or indirectly who attends Ibrox. I either walk, drive, subway or taxi over. GCCs line that we should use public transport more is concerning. Anyone who has been on the subway heading to Ibrox will know of the problems faced. Massive queues waiting to buy tickets from insufficiently staffed desks, ticket machines that you can’t buy oap or kids tickets from, poor pricing structure of tickets (compared to Europe) and worst of all the complete disregard for H&S re everyone cramming into the carriages like something out the dark ages.

Unfortunately I reckon the players you are referring to are far too detached from what is actually happening here (conveniently in a few cases) hopefully the introduction of all round stronger players this pre-season & the new management team get a grip of what is required.
