I'm not even a huge fan of Barrie, as you've said there's a lot he needs to work on. Just pointing out he creates plenty of chances, if we had strikers who finished them he'd look much better, and our position would be better too.

Of course shot assists is a fucking stat. Hardly the creators fault other players can't fucking finish, and that's the point of shot assists, shows you how many chances a player creates, and Barrie creates some of the most. There's a lot he has to work on but people saying he doesn't create enough are just wrong.

Barrie was in top 5 shot assists in Britain only a month or so ago. He creates plenty, if we could finish people would rave about him.

Most experienced player in our squad in both age and his playing career, that is vital to help out what is a very young squad. Can always rely on Kenny to put in a shift when needed. As long as he isn't seen as a 1st team player, and continues to help out off the field, I can't see any issue with this. If we let him go, our most experienced player would then become Shiels, 5 years younger than Kenny and nowhere near the same level of career. Warburton likes a good mix and would probably rather re-sign Kenny than go out and try to bring in someone with that kind of experience. Good decision in my eyes.
