Considering he was a £60k punt from Accrington Stanley then I think he’s done ok for us.  I don’t really get the hate for him at all.

Let's get some positives for a change in here.
It's getting time to look ahead to better times. With Allan McGregor keeping double figure clean sheets and having a good season, I'm happy if we build a solid new defence with the confidence of a good keeper behind them.
Scott Arfield will score important goals for us.
We need to clear out the Hodson's and O'fucking'Halloran's from this great club.
If we are to win 55 next year, it will be partly because our bench is very strong, so step it up in this department please Rangers.
We have a new kit to look forward to. It brings in more cash through sponsorship but also we make a lot more now through shirt sales. It might mean an extra 1 or 2 quality players in key positions.
There's a high chance of a new manager too. This is critical we get this right. No more fucking about with hedge dwellers arguing with his own fans Rangers
And fuck all other teams fans. We will be back in our rightful place sooner than you think. It's all about the Rangers, the only show in town.

He doesn't say anything wrong in that interview.  He speaks highly of the club and stating celtic's exposure to the Champions League is responsible for the gap is accurate.  He brought Murty and Windass to Rangers and when asked about those two individuals he praised both.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I agree with a lot of that article.
I think Murty is growing into the job and would be happy with him staying on.

Rangers should look no further than Graeme Murty
    March 14, 2018
By Garry Carmody | Guest Contributor
The furore following a Rangers-celtic game is usually as fierce as the game itself. The raw emotion following a defeat is tangible and intensified by social media - anyone who hasn't said something post-Old Firm that they regret by the next weekend hasn't lived this game.
This has been evident following Sunday's game. As ever, endless comment has been made from the Rangers support on the manner of the defeat, the personnel and the tactics. However, one thing I'm struggling to deal with is the opinion that Graeme Murty is no longer fit to take Rangers into the 2018-19 season.
I don't think it's difficult to argue that Sunday's game was winnable. Rangers went into the game with the momentum and scored after three minutes, but ended up losing 3-2 with a man advantage. Whatever way you want to look at it, that's difficult to take. 43,000 fans left Ibrox on Sunday fully aware that a very good chance had been blown.
The tactical battle was lost by Rangers following the sending off, and this has been summed up well by a number of writers, however, in my mind a number of variables outwith Murty's control conspired against him on Sunday:
    - Losing the regular centre back pairing, one in the run-up to the game and one ten minutes in, and being forced to play Fabio Cardoso who Murty evidently has no faith in.
    - Having the exact players required to protect a lead - Ryan Jack and Ross McCrorie - missing through injury.
    - An Alfredo Morelos miss that no manager can take responsibility for. That makes the game 3-3 under just about any other circumstances.
    - A lack of options on the bench to shake up the team going forward. Jason Cummings remains the only viable card the manager has to play off the bench in order to change the game, and it isn’t quite enough.
Murty's game management was lacking at the key moment on Sunday while Brendan Rodgers' was evident. He'll have left the game with a tough lesson to learn, but let's not get too down on ourselves or our manager.
In the run-up to the game, Rangers fans had a belief that we haven't had in years. That belief has been instilled into the players by Murty and this has channelled through to the fans. A fine run of results and free-flowing goals has had the support believing a sense of normality has been restored. The consensus from Sunday is that was a "proper" derby - there was a different form of dejection from the home fans and a sense of relief in the jubilation in the away end.
The reason for this can only be credited to Murty. He has taken the remnants of Mark Warburton and Pedro Caixinha's sides, added his own element, and created an actual team. The only area you could argue Rangers lack depth is down both wings, and that can be addressed in the summer.
At some point, Rangers require continuity. If it's not Murty who takes the job this summer, it has to be someone who buys into and understands the roots Mark Allen began to put down in the winter. Rangers cannot afford to have a third consecutive summer of signing ten or more players to suit a new style of manager. And what manager fits that mould? And what happens if the next manager is tactically out-boxed by Rodgers in the first game of next season? And then the next one?
From the minute he was first brought in as a very raw caretaker manager, Murty has shown signs of improvement. His development has went hand-in-hand with an improving Rangers team. Since Murty was appointed, Declan John looks like an all-round improved player. Josh Windass has grown into the team and cannot stop scoring. David Bates is developing into a fine young centre back. James Tavernier has taken on the captain's armband and continues to grow into the role.
It is also impossible to overlook that every player signed in January is having an impact on the team. That's not a positive you can suggest about any transfer window in recent memory. This is a young, hungry Rangers team that Graeme Murty deserves to mould during a summer transfer window. His management style is rough around the edges, but no managerial appointment in the summer will be perfect. The simple reality is that we do not have the funds to attract a manager that we can guarantee will hit the ground running and match a celtic team that still has over double the budget.
At one point we need to be pragmatic and give a manager a proper run at this, and – barring a collapse of epic proportions between now and May – I do not believe we have had a better chance to do that than now. Murty lost out at the weekend, but let’s not forget this is a manager who managed a point in both his first two games against celtic, and arguably deserved to win one of them.
If Murty is “learning on the job”, he’s doing so quickly and is showing signs that he will continue to do so. This is an ongoing project and Murty has taken us down the first step on the road. Let's have a bit of faith that he is capable of pushing us to the next step.

If that is what is motivating Windass to prove himself to the fans, then fair play to him. It certainly worked for him last night, as with most of the team, he has been inconsistent but I don't think he deserves to be singled out for abuse.

Great fight from the players, fighting for the manager.  I think he deserves some credit here.  He may not be the man that gets us our title win, but he has passion, and is fighting for us.  He isn't like Warburton or Ally.  He is Pedro, and we should all get behind him while he is here, at least for now.

    Well done Rangers.

Likely on my own, but give Pedro a year.

Looks like typical Daily Rhebel shit stirring...  Here's the link from Rangers Observer:
"Pedro reads the Riot Act to underperforming players
    September 26, 2017
Pedro Caixinha has left his Rangers players in no doubt about his expectations for the rest of the season, after a full and frank debrief at the Rangers Training Centre following Saturday's Old Firm defeat.
Pedro gave Rangers fans a glimpse of his willingness for the fight during the game, when he confronted Scott Brown after the celtic player elbowed Alfredo Morelos - the latest in a series of unpunished elbows by Brown on Rangers players in recent Old Firm fixtures. Now it is the Rangers squad who are feeling the brunt of his determination to improve the fortunes of our club.
Pedro stressed the need for the squad to work together in the coming months and put together a run of results to move Rangers into a better league position and progress in the League Cup. He has made it clear that he expects the British members of the squad and the new arrivals from Portugal, Mexico and Colombia to work together to address the inconsistency that has plagued the start of the season.
There was always going to be a period of adjustment with so many new players from both the domestic scene and abroad, but it is clear Caixinha feels that the process of bedding the squad in should now be complete and that there can be no more excuses in Rangers' quest for trophies.
The gaffer has told his foreign imports that they need to ensure that they have fully integrated themselves with the British core of the squad and has urged his domestic players to do whatever is necessary to complete that process. He wants the players all fighting together for the jersey and for the fans.
A source close to the dressing room has told the Rangers Observer that the message was well received by the squad and that they are more determined than ever to show both Pedro and the Rangers support that they have the quality, determination and fight to properly represent our club on the pitch.
Caixinha has talked before about the need for our players to win the battle on the pitch whilst also playing football. The fans and the manager will expect the squad to show the required qualities and bounce back from a disappointing Old Firm weekend with a win against Hamilton on Friday"

Well shit result but it does really bring out those that howl At the moon on here. The lack of realistic expectation about what it takes to build a team, the inability to look at a bigger picture and a lack of patience is evident.
Most on here at the start of the season only expected second, many were expecting third or fourth and imho a manager should be judged over a period of time and yet we have out rabid who almost joyfully can't wait to put the boot in every time we have a poor result and then call that support.
calling for patience on here is like asking Trump to stop tweeting nonsense - impossible. But once again I believe the corrrect course of action is to get behind the management and continue our magnificent support but I suspect the howling mob don't have that in them.

Tonight is a massive game. I like Warburton and believe he can be the man to take us forward. However, games like this are massive for his future. We need to improve our away form, and we need to do so against our closest rivals. We also need to right the wrongs of last time. Despite Hearts and Cathro seemingly being a little all over the place, we never get it easy at Tynecastle. Tonight is a very tough fixture. It always has been. Tonight we must step up and I think we will. Let's do this......

At the end of the day we have not been good enough tonight.  End of story,  do we have the quality to come second?  Yes I believe we do.  Will we,  yes I think we will. There is clearly something that is not working and that could be a number of things.  Changing almost an entire side in the sumer could be a contributing factor.  Having an almost constantly changing side is always going to make things difficult.  Having 4 or 5 important players having a drop in form is going to cause the rest of the side to have to do more to compensate.
What would I change?  I'd have a shoot on sight policy,  be a bit more direct in the final 3rd.

Yeah! I kind of fucked up there - I have followed Rangers since I was 10 years old, and what I am seeing right now, isn't the Famous Glasgow Rangers I once knew - the supporters are still there, but our team isn't.
I will always support Rangers, but we have a long way to go and some times I just think back to those good old days- and not the days we are going through right now-  I went to every game during the John Greig era, when crowds were around 15,000 and you could pay at the gate.
I never gave up on my club or my team then, and I never will............
Of course I am hoping for better days for our club - and I apologize for what I wrote before. ( cider brain )
I was just so mad and so disappointed with the game today - but we did win and thank fuck for that !!!!
