Officially the worst CL side ever.

We will probably match the tarriers for the most part but there’s no way we are gonna win the Old Firm games under Gio’s shitebag management; their squad isn’t CL level either but it’s far better than ours (especially decimated by long term injuries).

Either both are going to have to play at Iniesta level in the middle of the park tonight or they may as well sit in the stands as they won't get a touch of the ball otherwise.

I’ve been one of Gio’s biggest critics lately but have to say he deserves credit for today. He got a reaction today and I thought we were really good  for the full 90 minutes. Could’ve been a lot more today. A really positive day all round and puts to bed any talk about the players downing tools. Maybe questions to be asked about why that’s the first we’ve seen that level of intensity this season but it was great just to enjoy the football for a change. Well done Gio and well done to the players. That’s now the benchmark for the rest of the season.

Point is that other teams from that Europa League level that we have beaten in recent seasons are capable of stepping up and at least putting up a good fight in the CL.

Going to 5 at the back in a game where you're 2-0 down in a group format where the scoreline doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
